I  Have awful acne and I am wondering is this % glycolic acid will help clear it?

Why does the Glycolic Cleanser look &amp; feel like glue? Feels like I'm putting glue all over my face and when I wash it off it has the gel like residue like glue. I've only just started using it so don't know if it works. Just felt strange. 

How do you like the results of this foundation?
