Do you really recommend Paula’s Choice products? I mean all of those

Does Paulas Choice products work? I'm thinking about getting this and some of the other products for my skin routine.  I need to know are they worth the money? 

i’ve never exfoliated before, how often should i use this?

In my current skincare routine I cleanse, tone and then moisturize. Would this be considered something similar to a toner or is it just an additional step in your routine?
