I received several of these free in my first Voxbox. I have shortish hair (long enough to be pulled back in a small ponytail), and most normal bands just won't stay put throughout the day. I like these because they hold my hair and stay tight so I'm not constantly having to readjust. They don't seem to pull out hair either, which is a huge improvement from the clips and bands that yank out several strands at a time.
I received this free as part of my first Voxbox. Although the product advertises "sheer" color, I am very pale so I expected a tinted moisturizer to give me a bit more color than Olay's BB cream...alas. There was no coverage. I have noticeable red spots on my face that are easily covered up by a little bit of foundation, but the BB cream did not neutralize those. The one thing I did like about this product was the 'dewy' texture it took on, but that was not enough to make up for the lack of color and coverage.
Pink Chiffon is my favorite scent at BBW, but keep in mind it varies between products (i.e., the spray smells a little different than the lotion). I personally like the Triple Moisture Lotion the best, as it smells great and lasts a fair amount of time.
I am naturally very pale (pink skin tone) and this did not blend in with my skin at all! A friend of mine who is also very pale, but has a more yellow base to her skin, uses this and likes it, but I cannot agree. To me it is much too visible (caked on appearance) and makes me appear more tan than I care to be.
E.l.f. is cheap, and though this doesn't make it bad, it means there exist constraints on the quality. I purchased a tube of coral lipstick at Target to try and found it did not blend into the creases of my lips as well as more pricey products. I would recommend as a daily "touch up" lipstick, but not something for photos or big events.
I took this to improve the strength of my brittle nails. Despite having very thick (presumably healthy) hair, my nails break easily and I thought Biotin might help. To be fair, I started on this high dosage without being on a proper diet or taking other vitamins recommended to be taken in conjunction with B vitamins.
My face broke out horribly after only a couple weeks on Biotin, and it took about as long for the bumps to clear up. I would not recommend just taking this (especially this high dosage) without consulting a nutritionist or at the least, others who have taken it. Know your diet and how it the Biotin may interact.
I discovered this product through my hairstylist. I always liked how she was able to tame my very thick, wavy hair at the salon and purchased my own. It is expensive, but I found it works way better than cheaper flat irons I've used because it has higher temps.
It will still take a decent amount of time to get your hair like you want it if you have a lot of hair.
