I am a beauty junky! I have a youtube channel, which is all about beauty on a budget because, let's face it, cosmetics are expensive and if I can look just as good with a one dollar blush, than one dollar it is!
I am also an independent author and a teacher. On that salary, budgets are necessary lol. I hope you'll join me on my channel: backwoodsbarbie
First, I'll start off with how I'm a hair snob. I use high end products on my hair only...never drugstore. I use it's a 10 shampoo, conditioner, hair masks, and leave ins. I have been using the it's a 10 miracle oil with keratin and the miracle leave in with keratin. However, this winter has left my ends dry. It seems that after a day, my hair is dry again. I was excited when I got this oil because I was thinking of trying something new. I do dye my hair, but I try to only do it once every 4 to 6 months. I also barely ever cut my hair, the last time was over a year ago. I don't use heat on my hair and I wash it every 3 to 4 days, usually 2x a week. I have fine, long, pretty straight locks....but a lot of it. I used my normal shampoo and conditioner routine when I used this hair oil and I've used it 3 times now, since receiving it. I love it. It helps retain moisture in my hair and detangling it, which when it is dry I will get nasty rat nests in it. My hair feels soft and nice with the use of the oil. I will definitely continue to use it and probably will repurchase it. I still follow it with the it's a 10 miracle leave in for UV protection, but I'm happy with this addition to my hair routine. It makes me curious about Aussie's other products.
I really gave this primer the benefit of a doubt. I tried using it with several different moisturizers prior to use and even with no moisturizer at all, but my oily skin just didnt like it. Within an hour, I had to blot my face. It didnt do too much for my large pores either. I cant say how well the soft worked because it's cold and wintery where I live. I think if you have dryer skin or live in a different climate, this might work for you. But for now, I'll stick with my normal primer. I gave it to a friend to try out and will try to update with her thoughts.
I love this mascara it's one of my holy trails. Gives great length and volume, however I would stick to the non waterproof because the waterproof doesn't do as much as the regular formula. It's also hard to remove, even with cleansing balms and oils, where the original is easy to remove and doesn't smudge on me. I have dryer eyes though, where my sis fer gets racoon eyes with this but she has oily lids.
Love love love. This is my favorite lipgloss formula. While plumping isn't exactly what you get (hence the loss of 1 star) this lipgloss is soothing and comfortable to wear. I always reach for it when I don't want anything that is going to cause my lips to feel uncomfortable.
I love these to top off my liquid lipstick or to use as a base for them. They help keep my lips from getting too chapped because of the drying effect liquid lipsticks have. They also don't mess with the consistancy, so instead of reapplying the liquid I use these to smooth out the color and let it set again.
I used a sample of this after dying my hair. This mask is amazing. After I removed the dye I saturated my hair with the mask, leaving it on for 5 minutes. When I rinsed, my hair was soft, tangle free, and restored. There was no damage to my hair. I dyed it black using the wella color trends 1NN and a 10 volume developer.
