IKEA is my go to for a variety of things. I buy my AA and AAA batteries there. They are an awesome deal. I also love their paper napkins and the cork hot pads. You cannot beat their value for the price paid. I use the hot pads at home as well as on my boat.
My daughter introduced me to Dr Browns baby bottles. I made sure we had some at our house too so the babies could be fed with a consistent bottle. I loved the low air system that stopped baby from getting excess gas when they were eating. They were easy to put together once I had. Lesson and as they were top rack dishwasher safe, I felt better that they were scrupulously clean.
What did we do before zip lock freezer bags. They are such a part of my life I can't remember when I didn't use them. We use them at home and on our boat as they don't leak and take up less space in the fridge or freezer. I have the large and medium sizes as well as the extra large which are great for freezing a whole chicken.
Over the years I have used many dish washing detergents but nothing compares to Dawn. It cuts grease like nothing else can. I use silpat liners when I bake and they get a greasy film. One squirt of Dawn and a quick brush on either side gets them squeaky clean It is also the ONLY thing that gets grease marks off clothes. A little squirt on a grease stain and I toss it into the wash. No more grease stain. Do not run out of this and if you camp, or boat, you need this too
I was hesitant to try this but am I ever glad that I did. It has been a game changer for my smoothie in the morning and it is delicious in plain Greek yogurt as a dip for apples or celery. For a treat sprinkle on ice cream - add some berries and you have a p b &j in a bowl My cupboard will never be without it
This is Amy favourite mayonnaise in my favourite delivery method. No spreading utensil needed to serve. Just a squeeze and the mayo is delivered to whatever food you want it on. I love to squeeze it directly onto halved hard boiled eggs for a protein packed yummy meal A hamburger is not a proper hamburger without a squeeze of mayo. Potato salad is not even close without it. Fridge staple
Oh Nutella. I have a love/hate relationship with you. You taste sooooo good but are so full of sugar that I must haul myself in and only have you once in a while for a treat. I wish you could get a jar with a once a day lock release maybe that would save my waistline Any chance of a sugar free version? That would be nirvana
Cononut oil is the bomb. I am on a Keto diet and I love the flavour that it gives me when I fry or Saute. I also wipe it in pans to prevent sticking in things like poached eggs. I also use it with melted chocolate to make fat bombs to satisfy my sweet tooth. My daughter uses it for a face cream and a hand cream. I like that it is shelf stable.
No fridge is complete without a bottle of this Magic sauce. It can elevate the lowly egg to gourmet and raise a vegetable to reign a meal. My husband pours this on most meals. The spice is smooth and does not blow your head off. We keep it at home and on our boat. People come asking for it when we are out sailing. Pantry staple. A must have
