Believe the hype. This stuff is my new addiction. Bought a travel sized one to try and eventually bought the full size. Goes on light, almost gel-like, and you only need a tiny bit to cover the eye area. It is ever-so-slightly cooling. Super refreshing. But boy, does it pack a punch when it comes to moisturizing. I CANNOT apply my under eye makeup without laying this down first. It makes my eyes feel so naturally hydrated without being thick or sticky. I live and die by this eye cream now, and would recommend it to literally anyone.
It perfectly filled in my pores.... for an hour and a half.
Y'all, I really wanted to love this product. I put in all the research. Read every review, good and bad. Waited MONTHS to actually purchase it because the price seemed steep for the amount of product you get. When I finally bought it, I couldn't wait to try it.
I was AMAZED at how smooth my skin looked after using this and doing my full face. However, when I checked an hour or so later, the oils had broken through dramatically, my pores looked more accentuated, and my makeup looked dull and cakey.
It did an awesome job at first, but if you have oily skin or need your makeup to be long lasting, this WILL NOT do it for you. I mean, maybe it will, maybe I got unlucky, but I was SO bummed to return this after all the years of hype about it. Just not worth the price since it really only fills in pores short-term and doesn't do anything else for your skin.
Originally bought Yacht because I wanted a quick, easy, swipe-on and rush out the door eyeshadow that still packed a punch. When I realized how BEAUTIFUL the pigment was (and how versatile the shadow is when combined with other colors/finishes) I HAD to go back and get Park Ave Princess. Together, they make a beautiful shimmery look that can go from subtle to blindingly sparkly! I'm in love with these shadows. Definitely worth the price because of how little you use even when you pack it on.
I originally bought one of these because I just loved the color. Then I went back to get another one because I loved the formula and how hydrating (yet light on the lips) it was. THEN I went back again for a more nude, mod shade (Salt Lyfe) because I'm just addicted at this point. This stuff wears like a creamy, light chapstick and they hydration just doesn't stop. Yes, it transfers, but if you apply - dab - apply again you'll still have a nice base color on the lips! I seriously love these lippies regardless of their minor faults, and I know I'll be back for more as soon as I have the money!
M-52 is the PERFECT shade for pale gals like me! I use it as a matte shadow base and lid color. It's just slightly lighter than my skin tone and it lasts all day. Just throw a little light brown shadow on my crease and I have an easy matte eye look. I've replaced primer with this do-it-all product! It lasts all day and keeps my oily lids at bay as well. I was on the fence, but I'm so glad I bought it!
I usually have a game plan for what I'll be checking out each time I go into Sephora, but this lip pencil caught me off guard! Had to buy it after trying on Dusty Pink. It's a perfect bright but conservative pink for every day wear.
I love how this pencil applies - matte, smooth, light on the lips, but not drying. I can barely feel it's on. It lasts decently long - not the best wear time, but it's easy to reapply. One star off for the wear time/price. It's pretty steep, but honestly, I can tell it'll last a LONG time based on how little product you use when you apply. When I have the money I'll most likely buy another shade!
Not a big glitter gal for lips, and the glitter specks in this are noticeably big. That being said, I actually LOVED the effect it had on the muted pink lipstick. Perfect for a night out to give an extra oomph to your lips. I loved that it wasn't sticky at all like I expected it to be. One star off because it wasn't very long lasting, but it was easy to reapply! I received this as a complimentary gift from Influenster in exchange for my honest review.
Review for: Current Nude, All Nighter, Back Talk, Ballerina more...
I was so excited to receive two more shades of this lipstick in my #VoxBox - I already have two colors that I LOVE. This lipstick is surprisingly pigmented and pretty long lasting (plus, it doesn't "crumble" off like many liquid lipsticks do).
Nice range of colors, from subtle nudes to bold purples and deep mauves. I seriously love these lipsticks for an affordable liquid lip. My favorite thing about them is how LIGHT they feel on the lips - it hardly feels like you're wearing lipstick. I received this as a complimentary gift from Influenster in exchange for my honest review.
Guys, I tried SO hard to love these! I've seen such glowing reviews on the soft matte lip cream but no matter what I do, I can't make it work. I take fabulous care of my lips, they're never a problem with drying/cracking, and liquid lipsticks usually apply effortlessly. NOT these! One swipe leaves incredibly streaky color, and then any attempt at layering just moves the product around until it dries and settles into corners and lines with little color payoff. Maybe it's just the two colors I have and their formulation, but I seriously can't stand these lipsticks. Overhyped!
