Hey, my name is Berkeley, yes I was named after the university, Go Bears! Residing in America's finest city where it's beautiful all year round.
These are a few of my favorite things:
👸🏽 staring at myself in the mirror while I get ready!
My single most favorite product of makeup to put on is mascara.
I would have to say getting ready is my favorite pastime/hobby. I find that it's very soothing to me, it centers my energy and it becomes the one thing that I get to do for myself and have my alone time, which is very hard to find these days as a single mother with a 1 year old.
I am fairly new to the make-up reviewing process and am by no means a professional MUA, but I have used a plethora of different products and brands from drugstore to designer. I love to spend money on really good makeup but I also can't pass up a good deal or a dupe! Not everything works 100% for me because I am fair, picky with textures, and how it's feels on my skin. I have really sensitive skin, although I am not prone to breakouts I do have reactions and get dried out. That being said, my goal is to give the most honest reviews per the products I have owned and have personally used for the benefit of everyone!
I purchased a few colors from the Disney Collections and absolutely love them. The formula is very unique and the color pay off is amazing and vibrant. The amount of product you get for the price is also amazing. I will continue to purchase Colourpop Supershock shadows as they are a great addition to anyone’s eye arsenal.
The Colourpop Liquid Lips ate identical in formula and practically identical in most colors to the Kylie Lip Kits and a quarter of the price! They are long lasting and light weight, if too much is applied before it dries down properly the application does get cakey and crumbles.
Jeffrey Star has the best formula and color selection! The color “I’m Nude” is my absolute favorite nude lipstick out of all I own. The formula is amazing and drys down great, long lasting and has a nice soft scent. I will continue to purchase the liquid lips and they are sold at Morphe so you can look at the colors before purchasing as well!
I absolutely love the Dose of Colors liquid matte lippies. The formula and packaging is amazing and color payoff is great, my only complaint is the colors seem different online versus in person, partially I think because of the choice of not having the lips picture with any outline of skin colors, but now that DOSE is in Ulta stores even that shouldn’t be a problem anymore.
This was the first eye shadow palette I had ever purchased. The color range is great with the measure also basics and the formula is great for the price. I will say there is a lot of fall out compared to other palates I have.
I love the Kylie lip kits but they feel very similar to the Colourpop Liquid lips and they have definite dupes, making the lip kits rather pricey. The formula is a little delicate, can get flakey if too much is applied or doesn’t dry down all the way before adding additional layers of lip accents, which is typical with most liquid lippies.
I received this product in my BoxyCharm. The colors are beautiful and the color payoff is nice. I would say this set is best for tanner people, and only those who like to experiment with different blush colors, since the shade range is wide, pink, coral, and mauve.
I received this product in my BoxyCharm. The palette has a nice selection to make a nude eye look with one palette. The formula is nice and blendable, although there is a little fall out. The shadow names all have nice empowering names as a plus!
I received this product in my BoxyCharm. The palette is beautiful and a perfect range of nude base colors with darker plum colors for a Smokey night out look with mattes and shimmers. The formula and color pay off is the typical Morphe expectation.
