EZ was easy. That’s all I got for ya! I don’t recall anything spectacular about using them for rental but I don’t think I had any issues either. The line went by really quickly and wasn’t huge to begin with. Entire process was smooth.
I would give zero stars if I could. I reserved a car with Fox and knew that most rental companies have certain requirements for using credit vs debit cards, especially for locals. I was only going to have the debit card available to me for this trip so I attempted to call ahead and make sure that would not be a problem, otherwise I could book elsewhere easily. However, no matter which number or buttons I pushed I could not get a real person to answer this question for me. Since debit seemed to be the preference of the other rental places I had been using (a lot at the time) I hoped this would be fine. I would be arriving from my plane and only have an hour to pick up the car (which should have been fine). However, the line was SO long that it took almost the entire hour just to get to the front. I attempted to ask staff my debit card question the entire time but was basically told to wait my turn. Once I finally got to the front they refused to rent to me with a debit card no matter what because I had a nevada license and was renting in Nevada. There was literally nothing they would do and I had to go back to the buss line and wait for one of the shuttles to take me back to the other rental places. For whatever reason every reputable rental company is in the same building in Vegas except for Fox who makes you shuttle to the middle of no where. Worst experience ever and ruined my entire day.
Enterprise is so great because they are friendly and helpful and accommodating and just make the entire process simple and stress free. I think my favorite part is that all of that is consistent across every location that I’ve been to so far.
Budget is probably my second choice for car rentals and only because of the inconsistency with some of their locations. Most Budget Rentals are clean, friendly, accommodating. However, for one thing the have different rules concerning payment and deposits so definitely call your specific location ahead of time so that you know what you’ll need to bring. One time I showed up and in Vegas with a local ID (I had just recently moved to Cali though) and they required two proofs of residency, which I no longer had as I was not a resident any more. I told them that I could show my return flight (what they required from out if state ID) but they would not accept so I had to cancel after spending 20 minutes on my phone trying to get ahold of old but recent enough bill statements. Another time I ended up at a franchise and had pre booked online. When I showed up they not only didn’t have the type of car that I reserved but said that they couldn’t have one sent from one of the other 15 rental stops on the Vegas strip so I had to pay more for a car I didn’t want (a pickup truck when I had reserved a prius type car). After explaining that I would take the other car if I had to but would not be paying extra especially since gas in this would cost me more they waived the fees just as a suitable car for me pulled in so I was able to wait 15 minutes for that one to be cleaned instead. I do rent a lot of cars so there are bound to be some rough experiences but Budget is usually affordable and helpful and easy to work with other than these couple of times.
This is one of the car rental companies that I will actually pay more for (not that I’d need to!) just because I know that they will take care of me, the staff is accommodating and there’s nothing to worry about. I almost always get in and out of there quickly and stress free and I think that may be why I love them so much. Usually they are one of the cheaper options too!
My experience with Payless was average. The prices were fairly inexpensive but the entire experience was nothing to call home about. Everything went smoothly and was very hands off though so I would not be opposed to using them again.
I liked staying at the Hilton. It was fairly affordable but not cheap. Clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly so no complaints from me but nothing specific caught my attention as being extraordinary.
All of MAC’s lip liners are true to the color they look like. They go on smoothly and are everything you’d expect them to be. I think MAC is known for their bold, vibrant and true colors. I’d definitely suggest stopping into a store to try out some of their colors for yourself and maybe even get the opinion of their makeup artists. I do think that their liners are a little bit expensive at around $20 a piece, but if you take care of them they do last a very long time so definitely worth the price.
I love the Four Seasons! Every time I have stayed at one I felt like a valued customer because the staff were so helpful and friendly. They really go above and beyond for customer service and even think to help you with things you wouldn’t think of on your own. Very nice place to stay with great amenities!
