Do I love that these bars are made with all-natural ingredients and are high in fiber and protein? Absolutely. Did I like the taste? Definitely not. It's hard to say if it was because of the peanut butter and jelly flavor, or if all the Aloha bars would be equally undesirable (the texture was a little gritty, and the taste was just plain weird). Next time I need to purchase protein bars, I'll try a different brand.
I cloth diaper my baby during the day, but at night we use disposables to ensure against leaking. We typically use Target's Up&Up brand diapers and think they're great — especially for the price (around $0.15 a diaper).
These Babies R Us diapers are definitely a match in quality. No leaking, no tabs tearing off so far. And in one way they beat the Target diapers — the tabs are extra long and the waistband extra stretchy, making it very easy to get just the right fit on my big baby. So I'm very happy with these diapers.
My one complaint is the price — at $0.25 a diaper, these may be on par with or cheaper than name brand diapers (Pampers, Huggies, etc.), but they're no match for Target's house brand. For that reason, I'll stick with Target.
I have issues with dry eyes, and these drops have been recommended to me by a number of opthalmologists. I've found them at CVS, Target, etc. They're easy to use, and they work immediately to soothe dry eyes. The bottle is small but usually lasts awhile.
My only complaint is that it's not preservative-free. Wish it was!
We hosted a clam bake and barbeque for 100 people and wanted to provide more than paper towels or napkins for messy, sticky hands. These were perfect! They were easy to distribute, thanks to "single serve" packaging. They cleaned hand perfectly. And the scent was light and fresh. Perfect!
You would think it'd be easy to buy a saline spray that's made up of only salt and water, right? Well, it's not. Lots of other brands seem to add in unnecessary preservatives and other ingredients. But this one is great!
It's easy to use, and I feel perfectly safe using it on a tiny baby. When Ii pair it with the NoseFrida, my baby's runny nose is nothing to worry about!
We bought this when my baby was 6 months old and we were panicked about moving him into his own room/crib. It, in addition to a video monitor, brought us a lot of peace of mind! We did experience a number of false alarms, though, which would send us shooting out of bed in the middle of the night. I also didn't love the way the monitor was attached to a cord. If parents' room is not right near the baby's, it might be difficult to hear the alarm going off. As my son became more mobile in the crib, we stopped using the monitor because of false alarms. But for the baby stage, it works pretty well!
This thing is just incredible. With my first son, we used the traditional blue bulb aspirator they give to you at the hospital. He hated it. We hated it. We bought the NoseFrida when my second baby was born and excitedly tried it out when he was a few weeks old and struggling to breathe through his nose. It worked perfectly and painlessly. We all love it!
This is a must have for the winter months! It works wonders on dry skin. Yes, it's pricey, but the small container lasts forever. And the ingredients are all very natural and simple. I can't go without Egyptian Magic!
Review for: COVERGIRL Plumpify Mascara by blastPRO more...
I'm a Cover Girl mascara devotee and generally love the mascaras in the LashBlast line. But this one? Not so much. The wand is oddly huge, making it difficult to apply. Each time I've used it I've ended up with smudges all over. Also, the brush doesn't seem to get coated very effectively when you pull it out of the tube. I wouldn't say it made my lashes any "plumper" than other mascaras.
You can't go wrong with Bananagrams! This game is fun for Scrabble lovers and non-lovers alike. It's very portable, so perfect for bringing on vacation or to a friend's house. If you want a long game, you can play a bunch of consecutive rounds, but if a short game is more up your alley you can limit it to just one or two rounds.
This game is great for all ages, and even very young children enjoy playing with the letters (even if they can't yet read or spell)!
