I have a great and wonderful boyfriend and two beautiful girls. I have played with makeup and hair products since the early 90’s when we learned everything from magazines. I’m now relearning from these younger kids on YouTube. I taught myself to do my own nails from YouTube and am interested in learning new techniques for my makeup and skincare.
Absolutely love them. They have a variety of styles and sets on their website and always have major deals on them. I just ordered 2 sets and a palette and I’m getting an eye brush set free plus two free palettes and it cost me $60 after taxes. The only thing I will say is their shipping can be confusing. They use FedEx Smartpost so it does take a while. You order then they process the order within 3 business days then send it to FedEx to be shipped and then it takes about 1-2 weeks to get it via USPS. Don’t do the the express shipping because even though it says 3 day or 2 day shipping it will always take at least a week because those days are from when they are done processing the order. You can also buy some sets from Ulta but you honestly will pay less 90% on their website and most likely grab a free product. Just be patient and when tracking your package don’t pay any attention to what it says on the BH website. Use the tracking number for FedEx they give you on the FedEx website instead. It’s more accurate. I definitely suggest you give them a try!
Nancy E. asked, “Are they good? Do you guys recommend them?”
I love both the regular and the waterproof. The regular doesn’t clump and is able to be layered. I like to use the regular then layer waterproof over that to get that full lash look without the clumping. Plus if you curl your lashes the waterproof will help keep the curl. You do need an oil based eye makeup remover for the waterproof. Too Faced makes a mascara remover. It has a mascara like plastic wand and you apply the remover, let it sit for a minute and it wipes off. Plus the oils help condition your lashes. Good luck!
Have you tried an oil based remover instead of makeup wipes when removing it? I use Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof mascara and at first I was thinking nothing would take it off. Then I bought the nuetrogena oil free liquid makeup remover and that helped immensely! Now I upgraded to Too Faced mascara remover. It is definitely oil based but I apply it with the wand and let it sit a minute while I wipe the rest of my face and it wipes off with no problem. Plus the oils are helping my lashes grow longer now. I love it. If you like the mascara but removal is the issue then I’d look into cleaners first. I think the Too Faced cleaner is $17 at Ulta and the nuetrogena is under $7 at Walmart or Other box store.

Shay C. asked, “Does anyone have any recommendations for eyelash growth?? I used the L'Oréal Paris Voluminous® Lash Paradise Waterproof Mascara and did not have a problem with it until recently. Every time I used it, it was so hard to remove and started taking my eyelashes out in clumps. They’ve slowly started growing back but I’m hoping to speed up the growth cycle”
I couldn’t justify the cost at first either so I bought some of the mini’s to try. I would recommend getting the minis or buying the bundles and sets where you get more for your money. I don’t know any comparison because this was the only one I found a color match in for myself that has staying power but can be natural looking. I’m a budget shopper myself so I understand cost concern. Hope you find something in your price range. I know my daughter like NYX brow products or even Rimmel London.
I need help! I want to know suggestions for foundations that don’t age me more than I am. My skin is combo skin with sometimes oily/dry patches in my t zone and I’m prone to breakouts. Every foundation I’ve tried settles into every line and imperfection on my skin and ages me more than I am. I know I shouldn’t use matte foundations but the only others I’ve tried feel like they melt everything off my face after a couple hours. I’ve tried Neutrogena healthy skin, Morphe, Nars, BH Cosmetics, and Covergirl matte. I use benefit primer to try to blur my pores and Maybelline age defying concealer. What foundation is out there that isn’t overly greasy and won’t settle in lines and pores that I could use? Any suggestion is helpful and worth me looking into. Thank you in advance! I’m wearing Nars foundation in this photo.
I personally love this palette. I love the mix of reds and coppery/bronze colors. The pigmentation is wonderful and I don’t have any issue with blending. I also double my use of this palette by using some of the metallic shades over lippies to make custom color lips for my looks. Yes, there are dupes but this is a go to palette for me because I love the options of light neutral, warm, fiery, coppery, shimmering, or matte and their formula for their shadows.
