First, when I first opened the bottle, it had a very strong scent which sort of turned me off. It's heavily scented and for some people that can be a huge issue. I applied the foundation with a brush. I normally use a beauty blender/beauty sponge, but unfortunately I didn't have any sponges on hand. The product glides on pretty well and doesn't dry quickly which gives you time to blend it out without streaks. I feel like the color Influenster chose for me is one shade or maybe even a half shade too dark, but that's not their fault so I didn't not include a docked star for that issue. The product did oxidize later in the day and that was very unfortunate. To make up for the cons of this product, the foundation does feel nice and lightweight on the skin. It can be buildable which is nice for covering problem areas and would be nice mixed in with moisturizer as a BB/CC cream. It settles well with powder and stayed put all day. This would be a great foundation to wear (finding your perfect shade of course) for everyday makeup use.
Not going to sugar coat this... probably the worst "luxury" mascara ever. This product promises a lot and doesn't live up with the hype. The brush pulls out WAY TOO MUCH product! The consistency of the mascara is way too thick. The brush doesn't separate the lashes whatsoever, leaving you with one huge eyelash. It's hideous. By the end of the day, you have tiny dots of dried mascara under your eyes... This mascara should be named.. "Too Faced Better than Dollar Tree But Not Worth the Luxury Price."
I have dry skin, especially my legs. No matter how much exfoliation I do, my legs are still not baby soft. I use to use the Josie Maran Argan Oil Whipped Body Butter, BUT spending $50/month got to be way too expensive... I was searching forever trying to find a dupe for that product and I found it in this product. It doesn't leave your skin greasy and your skin actually stays moisturized! Although I'm not too fond of the smell, the Shea Butter one (brown label), is even worse...smells like an elderly lady's perfume in the early 1990's. This intensive one is tolerable, but def wishing Dove would make a fragrance free one. Overall, good product.
I so badly wanted to like this product. I used it everyday for a week and by the end of each day, the product would be so patchy, even with powder on, it would literally separate from my face. I'm not even oily or dry! I have combination skin and don't have any other problems with any other foundations...except one. The only pro to this product is the lovely sheen it gives if used with a beauty blender.
I'm actually surprised this product received so many likes. In my opinion, this eye shadow palette looks pretty from the outside, but when using it, it's worth going into the garbage. The product feels silky, but is not buildable, even when putting on an eyeshadow primer.
This palette is one of my favorites! All of the colors blend very easily, are highly pigmented and just gorgeous! The orange-ish transition shade at the top is one of my favorite colors to work with. The white (sorry, I don't have the palette in front of me to give names of colors) is a TRUE matte white which is great for cut creasing. All around, this palette is totally worth the $50!
This palette is the bees knees. I love Kat Von D's formula. The colors are extremely pigmented and they blend like a freaking dream. In my opinion, this is the best contour palette on the market right now. The price is right and the pans are heavy.
To be honest, a clear brow gel is a clear brown gel. There's no need to spend $20 on a clear brow gel when a drug store version works just the same. I am a big fan of ABH, but some products are overpriced and this is one of them. Save your money and purchase a clear brow gel at CVS for $5.
This brow pencil is my HG. It's stiff, pigmented but not waxy, and small to really create hair like strokes. The brush on the end is great, too to blend the product into the skin/hairs. I feel that price is a little steep, but it's worth it in my opinion. I will always repurchase this product.
