Six Women-Owned Brands To Celebrate
Ladies get in formation
Who runs the world—GIRLS! It's Women's History Month, and we want to showcase some of our favorite women-owned brands that celebrate women and are run by women! Check them out below:
We know that time of the month can be difficult. Beatrice Dixon created The Honey Pot Company to make it a little easier for those who menstruate. These natural care products help you feel fresh and clean while healing and protecting yourself from infection. HoneyPot has everything a woman needs: natural washes, wipes, tampons, panty sprays, pads, lubricants, and other herbal products. The Honey Pot also gives back by providing menstrual care for homeless people, low income, or living in poverty.

Fruits are great for your diet and your skincare routine! Glow Recipe co-founders Christine Chang and Sarah Lee started their line to make skincare educational and fun. Their launches have included fruit-inspired products ranging from watermelon, banana, papaya, and avocado. One of my current obsessions is the Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner.

UOMA beauty is founded by Nigerian-born LA and London-based former beauty executive Sharon Chuter. It's a brand that's rebellious, innovative, and created for all. UOMA —pronounced OMA (uh-mah)— means "beautiful," and Sharon believes that beauty starts when you decide to be yourself. Their Say What?! Foundation and Stay Woke Concealer has a shade for everyone, so you're sure to find your perfect match. The Savage Black Magic Color Palette and Poise Black Magic Color Palette are both a mix of amazing neutrals and bold colors that will take any eye look to the next level.

Peach and Lily's founder Alicia Yoon is one of the pioneers responsible for making K-beauty popular in the United States. Peach and Lily promote "glowy skin" - clear, shiny skin for all. The line has many cult favorites, but I currently love the Glass Skin Refining serum and Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser.

Founder Shiza Shahid created the Always Pan to make it easier and more joyful to cook at home. The Always Pan is deep enough to make sauces but also shallow enough to flip an egg. It has inserts like a stainless steel steamer basket and a spatula rest— making it the perfect cooking system! Shiza also started the Malala Fund, which helps girls around the world get access to education.
