Winning Workout Apps: The Triple ThreatSlideshow Mode
I was a big runner before I started lifting weights. (If I could, I would just run all the time). If you’re a big runner like me, this is the app for you. It's not only helpful when you are balancing lifting/cardio in your workout, but also when you just want to run as far as possible. As the first “essential” workout app I ever found, it has a special place in my heart. Try it out!
Like I said, I’m not a big weight lifter, but that means that I have probably tried out so many lifting apps just for sheer ignorance as to which ones actually work. Jefit has been my greatest finding so far. It doesn’t just show you exercises, it gives you full workouts + video examples + tracking, to ensure your workout is perfectly executed. It also has a catalogue of different exercises to target specific body parts and even offers a personal workout creation feature to personalize your workout to your schedule.
This is your diet and nutrition app. It has the widest range of foods I have seen in any other app. Just put in your height, weight, weight loss goal and remember to add everything you eat throughout the day. The app will warn you when you are going over your goal and congratulate you when you are below your calorie intake. (It even tracks the nutrients of the foods you input to warn you if you are getting close to your limit of saturated fats, sugars, and other potentially harmful ingredients).
