Whoa—Color-Changing Hair is Totally A Thing
Three cheers for science.
Pastel hair, unicorn hair, mermaid hair. We'll take it all. But a new hair trend might just take the cake for the hair trend we want to try the most. Color-changing hair has been on the top of our beauty wish list for a while now, and thankfully, it's a reality.
Scientist Lauren Bowker, who also runs The Unseen, created a hair dye that actually is a mood ring for your head. The new dye called Fire transforms shades when the temperature rises or drops. Inspired by the '90s cult-classic The Craft, Fire came into fruition when Lauren was simply messing around in the lab. See it in action below.
An idea is only an idea untill someone makes it happen! 6 months ago @ilikegrey and I were watching The Craft and It dawned on me that their world was now! If you can believe it you will see it! And why wouldn't you!? #seetheunseen #magic #womenininnovation #science #alchemy #curiosity #modernwitch #ideas #innovation #chemistry #materialgirl
Although Fire is not available to purchase at retail shops yet (fingers crossed!), it is making its debut during London Fashion Week. Here's to hoping that it becomes so popular we're soon able to get our hands on this magical invention.
