What's in Our Content Quality Specialist's Bag?

When it comes to the well-being of our skin, we don’t turn to just anyone to tell us what we need to get that ever-elusive glow. Instead, we keep our dermatologists on speed dial and turn to co-workers who sport the clearest of skin, because obviously they’ve got to be doing something right. That’s why we asked our Content Quality Specialist, Kate, what’s in her beauty bag in hopes of getting the secret to her gorgeous skin. Check out her products and commentary below:

whats in her bag

Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30

murad sunscreen

"This might be my holy grail product. I have combination skin so usually adding a sunscreen to my routine makes my face turn into a greasy mess, but this sunscreen is unlike the rest! It’s so lightweight and not only feels like a primer, but acts as one too. The consistency is like a gel, but dry— it instantly absorbs and leaves a smooth non-greasy finish on your skin. The price point is pretty high for a sunscreen, but SPF is so important in any skin care routine and it does last a while! You don’t need much."

EOS hand lotion

"This hand cream has been a purse staple of mine for years. Unlike some other hand cream tubes, its size makes it super portable and it barely takes up any space. The smell is super nice and it absorbs so quickly! It’s hydrating enough for me, but if you have severely dry skin it might not be heavy enough for you."

Clinique All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage

clinique all about eyes serum

"I like using this before I apply eye cream in the morning, but it’s great to have on hand for any residual morning puffiness throughout the day. The serum inside contains caffeine and antioxidants so it continues working after you stop rolling! If you want a similar product at a lower price point, the Garnier eye roller is also a great dupe."

LUSH Aromaco Deodorant

"I’ve been on the hunt for a great aluminum-free deodorant for so long and so far this is the best one I’ve tried! It’s an easy transition if you’re used to stick or roll on deodorant because you literally just rub this bar in your armpits and are good to go! It’s easy, smells amazing, and works better than other products I’ve tried (don’t expect to be completely odor-free, but it keeps me fresh enough). I recommend using this right after the shower when you’re still a little damp."

Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Headache Relief

"I am super prone to headaches, but I’m also not a huge fan of taking painkillers several times a week. Whenever I feel a headache coming on I rub this on my temples and wrists. This little roller is full of peppermint and geranium essential oils which help ease tension and also smell amazing! It is a little cooling, especially on your face, but I do find that smelling these oils help me relax and are very soothing. It’s not Advil, but it is a great way to stay ahead of a headache or migraine without medication."
