Over here at Influenster HQ, one thing is certain: We love to bring the heat in the kitchen. From pizza to tacos and beyond, a little Frank's RedHot Sauce can always make an already-epic meal, even better!
In fact, we love Frank's RedHot so much that we hosted our own Facebook Live version of "Chopped" in the Influenster HQ kitchen and got REALLY creative with some Buffalo Chicken Sandwich creations. "I’ve been trying to be more health conscious for the summer and love making lettuce wraps as a way to keep enjoying sandwiches without the guilt.
It’s rare I get access to so many great ingredients and went for it! I grabbed the larger romaine lettuce leaves as a base and cut the grilled chicken breast, drizzled classic Frank's Red Hot Original (I put this sh*t on everything) over for a bit of spice and sprinkled some blue cheese over. To add a bit more veggies, I added slices of tomatoes, avocado, and red onion. Lastly, I added some of the breaded mac & cheese to tie in the secret ingredient—more Frank's, black pepper, and lemon and lime.
My side dish was a Southwest black bean salad that is an easy-to-make crowd pleaser that is light and tasty. Simply combine black beans, corn, diced tomato, diced red onions, diced avocado, pepper, lemon, lime, jalapeño, and Frank's Red Hot. You can also add some cilantro and lime zest."
"I started with my 'Comeback sauce' by combining 1 tsp. ketchup, 1 tsp. mayo, 1/2 tsp. vinegar, 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce, 1/4-1/2 tsp. Frank's Red Hot Original to taste, pinch of pepper, 1/2 tsp. paprika, fried chicken with just pickles and lettuce, and a hamburger or potato bun. I topped it with an ice cream scoop size of homemade or store-bought mac & cheese (the secret ingredient) and of course, added about another 1-2 tsp. of Frank's Buffalo Chicken Wing sauce on top for an extra kick!
For my side, I created an Asian slaw with 1 tbsp. vinegar and 1 tbsp. toasted sesame oil., 1 tsp. mayonnaise and 1/2 tsp. Frank's Red Hot Original sauce and a healthy grind of pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly and shred cabbage and add (optionally pickled) carrots to appropriate size, then toss in the slaw mix. Salt and pepper to taste. BOOM. FIRE."
