What to Bring: Girl's Night Out
We're firm believers that some of life's stressful problems are always best solved with a good girl's night out. Whether this means dinner and drinks or a full-on Ryan Gosling movie marathon, we're eager to help you with the bare necessities for a perfect #GNO.
1. Your touch-up essentials.
Even the most reliable makeup can fall short after you’ve put it to the test on the dance floor -- so don’t forget to bring some backup. Opt for the minimal essentials so that it doesn’t monopolize the space in your bag: eyeliner, chapstick & lipstick, and some handy oil-blotting sheets will do you just fine.
2. A crossbody just big enough for the essentials.
If it can hold your phone, wallet, keys, and makeup, then you’re good to go! A crossbody bag will help you keep it all hands-free (and keep you from forgetting it at the bar, too). This one is just the right size, and incorporates the cute fringe trend, too!
3. On your outfit: be bold, but be comfortable.
Those cute pumps you bought at a sample sale but haven’t found the “right time” to wear them out? Wear ‘em. (Considering you’ve properly broken them in, of course.) After all, who better to appreciate those cute shoes than your cute shoe-wearing companions? On the other hand, think about what’s in store for the night. If you’ll be stomping around town from bar to bar, then you’ll probably want to opt for a pair of stockier heels instead.
4. Have a (fun) game plan!
Whether it's Mexican food & margaritas or a low-key movie night at your place, one thing's always for certain: this night is about having fun with your girlfriends. So be sure to plan ahead: make those reservations, rent those movies -- anything that'll prevent any speed bumps along the way.
