What to Bring: Date Night
So you’re going on a big date. We’re pumped for you - and we’re here for you, too! Leave the to-do list to us while you *ahem* go Google-stalk your potential new beau.
Keep it Small: Bags
You never know what the night might bring, and the last thing you’ll want to do is lug around a giant, heavy tote. Trust us - you can leave your laptop, gym clothes, Kindle, and whatever else snuck its way into your carry-all at home tonight. Whittle down your date-night supplies to the essentials - your phone, your wallet, some mints, and a few key pieces of makeup for touch-ups.
Keep it Cute: Makeup

Whatever look you decide to go for, there’s some important criteria that it should meet -- staying put and keeping you worry-free. But we know that’s not all too realistic when it comes to pre/during/post-date nerves, so stash a few essentials (concealer, powder, oil blotting sheets, eyeliner, etc.) to at least keep your smudgy-makeup worries at bay.
Keep it Comfy: Shoes
(clockwise from top left) Shopbop / Joie Abbot Ankle Strap Suede Sandals, Zappos / Foot Petals Tip Toes, Amazon / Dolce Vita Agusta Two-Piece Flat, ASOS / Foster Leather Flat Sandals, Madewell / The Ames Boot
Painful feet are a surefire way to put a damper on your date night, so keep that in mind before you throw on your heels and head out the door. But we’re no stranger to that lovely boost of confidence a pair of high heels can give you (not to mention the height boost, too!) - so prep your favorite heels with some cushion inserts to make them feel a little more comfortable. Or opt for some cute (and comfy) pairs of sandals, flats, or chunky heels. Your feet will thank you.
Keep it Fresh: Mints
We can think of a few reasons why you’d want fresh breath tonight (wink wink). Keep a little pack of mints to cover the smell of that garlicky burger you just ate. If you’re particularly concerned, stash a mini disposable toothbrush in your bag and sneak off to the bathroom to freshen yourself up. There’s no such thing as being too prepared!
Keep it Up: Confidence
Comfy shoes and fresh breath aside, there’s one important thing to remember to bring with you on your big date: confidence! Take a deep breath and remember that tonight is about having fun - and more importantly, being yourself.
