We Tried It: Revlon's One-Step Hair Dryer

Being the Dallas native that I am, I hold true to the stereotype that everything is bigger in Texas–especially hair. In my book, the bigger the better. Hot rollers are my best friend. But, I’ll be honest, that's as adventurous as I get when it comes to exploring hair tools. I have an irrational fear of getting a round brush stuck in my hair whilst blow drying. P.S. it happened to my cousin once, and she resorted to peanut butter to get it out. I’ll stick with my Grease-approved hot rollers, thank you very much.

When I moved to New York, time suddenly moved a lot faster. We're the city that never sleeps, and also the city that doesn't have ample time for primping hair. So, when one of our editors introduced me to this innovative hair dryer, I had to see what the hype was about.

Revlon Oval One-Step Hairdryer

What is it: Revlon® Oval One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizing Styler for $59.99 at Target

What it does: It's essentially a round brush and hairdryer combined into one. It cuts down drying time and creates frizz-free volume.

Why I love it: It only took seven minutes to dry my thick, long hair and give it bounce. The bristles glided through my locks effortlessly and somehow even made it look shinier! It doesn't create ringlets like my hot rollers do, but it does make the volume of my hair last longer. Even if you blow dry hair before bed (like me), you'll still notice volume the next morning. I absolutely recommend it to anyone pressed for time!
