We Put GLAMGLOW's New Glowsetter to the Test—And It Passed
Let me preface this by saying, I have at least six makeup refreshing and/or setting sprays at home. And, I use approximately zero of them on a daily basis. So when GLAMGLOW's new Glowsetter popped into my mail box, I was a little hesitant it was going to be another albeit, beautiful, addition to my facial spray collection. But, I was determined to change my hoarding ways and actually put this spray to the test. And I am so thankful I did.
What it is: GLAMGLOW Glowsetter a.k.a. a skin and makeup refresher that also sets makeup.
How to use it: It's just as simple as you'd imagine. Spray on your face (hold about six to eight inches away) post makeup application for an energizing and smooth finish. You can also use it as a makeup refresher to wake up tired skin!
Our take: I first used this as a setting spray after applying my favorite CC Cream, concealer, mascara, and brow pencils (yeah, I am that minimal). Instantly, I noticed the scent. It has the clean, almost-powdery, citrus scent that GLAMGLOW lover's know and adore. But after spraying, I was taken at how it instantly sank in. No excess water or extra dew hanging around my face. Plus, it actually set my makeup. It didn't cause it to run or become slick. And, I checked my face about six hours into wearing, and my makeup was exactly as it was once I left the house. No shine, no melting off.
I was so impressed, I thought I'd spray it on again as an extra pick-me up. And it worked! With caffeine and a Teoxi complex (a blend of green, white, and red teas), my skin felt wide awake. Plus, the beneficial ingredients actually help guard again environmental aggressors.
Bottom line: I feel as if I'm a setting spray convert. Not only did I enjoy the way this felt on my skin, but I was impressed that it actually was dual purpose. My face felt refreshed, my makeup stayed in place. I'm calling this a win win.
