Exfoliating has long been lauded as an effective way to get rid of dull skin cells and to reveal brighter, softer, skin. Now, this beauty routine staple is getting an upgrade with DERMAFLASH. This space-age looking device is actually easy to use. It brings the technique of dermaplaning out of the spa and into your home.
Dermaplaning is essentially shaving the peach fuzz off your face. Sound scary? It's not we promise! In fact, this technique has been used by women for decades to get glowy, smooth skin.
If the idea of taking a blade to your face is frightening, there’s a way to get the benefits of dermaplaning sans scary tools, and 200 lucky Influensters are going to get to try it. Our DERMAFLASH VoxBox is a kit full of everything you’d need to try this new exfoliating technique at home.
Read on for a breakdown of the DERMAFLASH kit and a step-by-step of how it works!
This tool is the hero of the Dermaflash kit. With a new Edge (the user friendly blade) in place, power it on by holding the hummingbird until you feel a vibration. Then, you're good to use it—make sure to use gentle strokes against your face. It'll gently remove dead cells, debris, and fine hair, leaving behind smooth, vibrant, younger-looking skin.
Just remember that you have to charge the device before use—but never with an Edge in place! The humming bird light will blink until fully charged. When it goes dark, it's good to use!
Because you have to use a new Edge every time, this kit comes with six replacements. Each new one has a blue tab that comes off with use (the device won't work if an Edge doesn't have the tab). The kit also provides a pampering Prep cleanser to get skin ready. Post-flashing, there is also Soothe, a soothing hydrator specially formulated to help keep skin soft and smooth.
With these three steps, repeated once a week as a part of a nighttime routine, Dermaflash boasts results comparable to visiting a medical spa or dermatologist—how cool!
