If there's one thing we know, it's that our Influenster community is quite passionate about Halloween. From costumes to festive flicks, Halloween is clearly an Influenster favorite! We've already polled our community to see which candy reigns supreme in each state—hint: Candy Corn came in as a sleeper hit—now we decided to see which candy is unique to each state. So here's how we did it!
We polled 23,154 Americans asking them what their favorite candy was out of a list of 52 top-rated Halloween candies from Influenster’s reviews platform. Our approach in 2017 was to reflect how many more people of one state chose a particular candy over those in other states. While Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups continues to pull in the highest total number of votes total (the people love their Reese's!), this map serves to show the unique differences in candy choices across the country.
