This might be the best news for coffee lovers! We just leaned that everyone's favorite foodie spot, Trader Joe's, dropped a limited-edition Coffee Syrup. Now, before you go scratching you head, let us explain. A popular drink in the Northeast, coffee syrup has actually been around since the first third of the 20th century, according to the TJ blog. And now it's available for all us syrup newbies.
Here's how it works. It comes housed in a vintage-inspired bottle and can be mixed in with a number of food products to add some sweet coffee flavor to the mix. TJ suggests adding it to your coffee (that's a lot of coffee!), to your favorite milkshake or ice cream, or even using it for baking purposes. And if you're worried about some crazy ingredients. None here! It's just water, cane sugar, and coffee!
You can shop Trader Joe's Coffee Syrup right now for $4.49 at TJ stores!
