Top Rated LEGO® Sets

Based on 8,754 Influenster Reviews

There is something incredibly satisfying about building something; creating a business, a sculpture, a killer fashion look, a comic book, or a piece of furniture. Making something bigger and better than the sum of its parts is rewarding. Perhaps this is why LEGO® continues in its popularity with people of all ages, it empowers us to build entire worlds, from a kit or from the depths of our imagination. Founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Kristiansen, LEGO®, and its interlocking plastic bricks, continues to inspire us to tell stories with our creations.

We've rounded up some of the top-rated LEGO® kits on Influenster below. Our members praise the toys for their ability to bridge generations, provide bonding experiences, and improve motor skills.

My sons are 9 years old and 6 years old and they cannot get enough of Legos! My nine-year-old received a set for his birthday and he stop playing to put it together. He was so committed to the finish product that he worked nonstop and finished in a little over 3 hours. He is already asking for a larger set meaning more pieces and more complicated designs. My boys ask for Legos for every birthday, Christmas, and rewards. They absolutely love them. I definitely recommend their products

This is such a cute set and we have had lots of fun together and I’ve had allot of fun watching the scenarios he comes up with too. It’s pretty funny he’s selling cupcakes to every teddy Or toy in the house :). Our son has autism and legos have changed our life over the last 2 months, Sounds like a bold statement but truly the different settings and characters have really blossomed his imagination and language has improved dramatically to say the least, as he just seems more motivated to engage with us to sell us cupcakes or burgers from the diner set it’s truly been amazing LEGO so I don’t know how we could ever thankyou all enough but it’s made our lives so much better than I could ever share with you In a review so big hugs and lotsa love to you all keep up the great work!

Wisely, the designers have chosen to focus on the game's lore, rather than trying to offer a similarly endless recreation -- hero Steve and enemies such as zombies and the terrifying Creepers appear in most sets, while the kits themselves are themed around moments players experience in exploring the world. Anyone familiar with Lego sets from other sub-brands will notice the biggest concession to Minecraft comes in the mathematics of the line's construction. Almost every wall, block or shape is constructed of cuboid clusters of 2x2 bricks, often with a flat capper to make them as close to an actual cube as possible. It may sound a small change, but when you get to the bigger kits, it really affects how their geometry and stability works, for better and worse.

Bought this set having big expectations, and I must say lego did well with this one. I love the detailed mini-figures and would also recommend this to an army builder, due to the number of troops in the set, plus you get a First Order officer! I appreciate that lego has put a star wars blaster in this set, instead of all stud shooters. This really does show that they listen to feedback. The speeder is well detailed, and the melee accessories look great on the figures and the ship. overall great set with tons of collectors value and playability!

Purchased for a 5-year-old girl who just became interested in Legos. The scene is quite cute and the set itself is easy to put together. Several very small parts can easily be lost, so I would not recommend for a child under the age of 5. The benefit to this set is that the scene can be built in the case and then all the parts can be stored neatly inside when finished playing, making it a portable toy.

The little girl who received it loved playing with this! She was able to put most of it together on her own with minimal help required from her older brothers.

My son got these as a Hanukkah present from us last year and had a great time. He was 5 at the time and seemed to have no trouble assembling the tiny pieces. Like all lego sets, the trick to building is to follow the photo guided instructions one piece at a time. Some children find it boring, while others find it therapeutic, rewarding, and fun once the model is complete. Its a good way to keep little minds busy.

The City Advent Calendar series is the one that I purchase for my own use every year. I am now sharing it with my grandson who is having a lot of fun learning how to put together Legos (though he calls Duplos Big Legos and has been playing with those for several years.)

This is a great set with lots of fun builds. There are six minifigures and lots more. There is a train, a Christmas tree, an ice sculptor, a snowboarder, a Grandma, a skier, a “remote control” helicopter, a fireplace and seating and Santa is pushing a snow blower (though he also has a modern looking sleigh at his disposal, too.

I put together Christmas dioramas using both the Winter special scenes, City sets and City Advent calendars each year. This will be a really fun addition to the scenes that I have put together.

Be sure not to throw away the box as it is part of the fun. This year the box opens up to a winter scene with snow on the ground and lights on the trees and houses. The fold-out has more snow fun with a picture of a train track (for posing the little train that comes in the set.

My 2.5 year old is obsessed with watching people build these on youtube and he often demands to go to walmart so he can get one. He likes to build them along with the kids on the youtube. It's fantastic for his fine motor skills, and we discuss shapes, and colors while playing, and during clean up time we sort them out by colors. So many different ways for little minds to learn and play and create!

I like the size of the blocks and the container it comes in for easy clean up. It has vibrant colors that you can teach the kids colors with the colored legos. It's easy to assemble the pieces and take apart. When playing with these blocks your child can use their imagination to build and create their own structures. This helps with eye coordination and fine motor skills . It helps with cognitive development as well.

If your kids are LEGO fans, this is the set for you. As a parent who spends money on Legos, you feel a little upset after spending a bunch of money only to have the set broken up 5 minutes after it is built. This one had a cool factor of the helicopter so my some kept it assembled and played with it for months after.

All LEGO sets are great my son has had so many sets from this company there are now legos that don’t go to a particular set. I find them everywhere just cleaning. These are entertaining and having a boy it’s hard to keep them entertained with all that energy seems to do the job. He’s been playing with sets that were recommended for older ages since he was younger and knew better to not eat them. He has helped build them with me and has even had the bigger LEGO duplo sets. They are fun I recently bought him two new sets for Christmas.
