I absolutely love this primer! I’m over packing my pores all the way with primer and having my foundation look ultra fake on top of it. I’m now into the Hourglass because it halfway packs my pores and makes my foundation appear more skin like. Does it make me look flawless? No. Does it make me look fake? No. What it does do is give me a realistic finish once my foundation is on top that I think is much more flattering than what I was previously using. It also helps lock on my makeup for a longer lasting, less oily, and less transferable face. It takes me a lot longer, like a couple hours longer, before my skin gets oily on the surface. Even then, I go to blot & there’s way less makeup coming off on the tissue/napkin than there used to be with my previous primer. I also noticed that where I used to have a problem with my concealer areas looking cakey quickly, now I don’t see that level of cake or as fast as before. In my opinion, it’s absolutely worth the $$$.

Hourglass makes the most brilliant bronzers and blushers. I used to be way too heavy handed with my application of blush and bronzer, and this bronzer from hourglass is such a brilliant mixture of their bronzer and their ambient lighting powder that it next to impossible to be too heavy handed with this bronzer. I absolutely adore Hourglass and think that everyone should have at least one of their blushes and bronzers in their makeup collection. And it is worth the price tag because it will take you ages to hit pan on any of their products. I used to avoid wearing bronzer at all costs (unless I was having my makeup professionally done), because I could never get bronzer to not look artificial on me. If you pick the right shade of this bronzer for your skin tone and use a bronzer brush, I swear that you can get your bronzer to look natural and believable as well.

I know this foundation is pricey, but I absolutely love it.  I bought it as a splurge at Sephora after watching Laura Lee, Manny MUA, and Nicol Concilo use it repeatedly.  I really wanted a nice stick foundation because of their ease to apply and how quick it is compared to blotting a liquid foundation all over.  I was skeptical at first, paying  about $50 for a foundation that is in a stick and seems like it won't last very long.  I don't use it everyday, just days I am going out, but this is probably the best stick foundation I have ever used.  I love a quick makeup routine and once you apply this, and just stipple it into your skin using a kabuki brush or something similar (I use a Morphe Y6 brush - Laura Lee inspired obviously).  It melts into the skin and even though I don't think it is FULL coverage, I think it does the job.  It creates an even skin tone for me and covers up minor to mild blemishes (it doesn't make miracles for those larger blemishes).  I would definitely continue to purchase this, however at the price point it is currently at, I cannot afford it as an everyday foundation.  I strictly use it for going out or big events.  If you are looking to splurge on a stick foundation, I definitely recommend this!!

I use the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder every day... It has been the final step in my makeup routine for four years and I don't plan on changing it anytime soon! I have oily skin and this is also a perfect setting powder to use for a quick touch up because it picks up oil really nicely... I keep a mini one in my purse for that reason! And the compact design is great because there is no mess. I would say that the dim lighting one is my favorite because it isn't as shimmery as some of the others (I prefer a matte finishing powder). The Radiant light one provides A LOT more bronzing color than you would initially think, so be careful when applying it! It is also really shimmery so just make sure that is the look you are going for. All in all, you can't go wrong with these!

Yesyesyes! My favorite setting powder!! I HATED powders before using this and was kinda skeptical about buying this first. But i use hourglass’s veil foundation and the primer, had good experience with both, so thought id give it a try. It really doesn’t make my skin look cakey like other powders i used. It’s very smooth and all. I use it with a big powder brush. I was first struggling with how to get the product out, and how not to spill and all. I had too much powder on the surface and didn’t know how to get rid of excess product, and it got a mess.. but i got used to it (i use the lid to kinda blend my brush to get rid of the extra powder)
