The thin application makes these liquid lipsticks more comfortable during application and throughout the wear-time. They apply very opaquely and MOST of the colors are not streaky. Keep in mind that everyone will have a different experience with wear-time because saliva is unique; however, on me these liquid lipsticks last through non-oily meals and throughout a 7-8 hour work shift in a restaurant. Due to the long wear-time and comfort, these have easily become one of my favorite brands of liquid lipsticks.
I deducted a star for several reasons. While they are very comfortable and long wearing, most of the lipsticks have a scent that is so strong it makes my eyes water. In my opinion, some smell strongly of chemicals and root beer and some just smell like paint. This is subjective because some people enjoy the smell but to me they are not appealing. Thankfully the smell subsides after it has dried.
Another reason I deducted a star was because sometimes they are very hard to get your hands on. Often times the good shades are sold out; however, Jeffree Star is realizing this issue and overstocking products so this does not happen so I believe in a few months this issue will be completely resolved.
Overall this is a great product with a wide variety of shades. They are comfortable and I do not believe people would be disappointed when ordering and receiving this product.
The liquid lip creme was not what I was expecting and the shade I received was Shush, Blush. I had an idea in my head that consisted of a matte finish and long wearing formula and that was not what I got. This product is hydrating, creamy and pigmented. The actual product does not dry to a full matte and feels hydrating on the lips and remains creamy. Once the product has actually had some time to settle the texture then becomes less dry BUT it's not transfer proof. I have found that by allowing it to dry and then blotting any remaining wetness it will help reduce the amount of product that transfers. You would expect this to completely come off once you drink, eat or talk but the reality is that the remaining wet product will come off but the pigmentation will not. You will be left with a soft and velvety finish and the color will remain. The color will last a for about 4 to 5 hours and will always feel hydrating. ...read more
Alice (sheer shimmer) :
this is such beautiful color! it is a sheer nude with pink shift which basically means its a sheer nude with a really pretty peachy pink iridescent. It is a great wearable everyday color or can be applied to the center of the lips to make your lips look fuller! definitely the most wearable shade out of all of them.
Mad Hatter (metalized) :
this is definitely my favorite shade out of all 5 of them! it is a stunning purple shimmer and the color is very opaque! It is such a unique color and if you only wanted to buy one lipstick I would recommend this one!
Mirana (metalized) :
this is a beautiful dark berry shade with a subtle shimmer to it but its not very noticeable on the lips. this and Iracebeth are the most opaque shades in the collection. It is the exact shade that Mirana (the white queen) wears in the movie! I will be wearing this a lot in the fall time!
Iracebeth (comfort matte)
this is such a beautiful red! it is a comfort matte so its very comfortable on the lips and not drying at all! this is by far the most opaque color out of all of them and who doesn't love a good red?
Time (metalized) :
time is a gorgeous navy blue with shimmer. its very unique and I kinda want to wear it every single day! The color is pretty opaque but not as opaque as Iracebeth & Mirana.
the packaging is the same as the UD Gwen just with a beautiful brightly colored design.
I overall 100% recommend these lipsticks!
