Stick foundations, as a category, often aren't ideal for natural-looking results. However, Make Up For Ever's Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation surprised us by defying the this trend—it blends seamlessly, feels lightweight and has a skin-real appearance. Just as is the case with their liquid version, Make Up For Ever claims their Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation was developed for the more extreme detail of today's ultra HD video technology—i.e., flawless coverage "invisible to the naked eye." Today's best foundations look incredibly natural on skin, whether in front of the camera or in real life, so let's take a closer look at this one's qualities so you can decide if it's right for your needs. Packaged in a twist-up container, this formula has a smooth, creamy texture that sets to a slightly dewy finish. Best for combination to dry skin types, this can be sheered out for light coverage, or layered easily for medium to full coverage. As this is a stick foundation, its finish and the ingredients that keep this in a solid form (i.e. waxes, emollients) aren't recommended for oily or acne-prone skin. For those who've tried similar stick or solid cream makeup in the past, you'll find Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation feels much lighter on skin in comparison, not the least bit heavy or greasy. Those with dry skin will appreciate that this resists clinging to dry spots on the face. With a light swipe of product, it covers redness, uneven skin tone and gives skin a healthy, natural-looking appearance. Given the ease of application, it is ideal for spot application or layering over areas that need a little more help. (On that note, we'll mention coverage builds rapidly, so start by applying less product than you think you need.)

As an Aesthetician/Makeup Artist I use so many different brands of foundation on my clients(mostly higher end). I recently did the makeup for a bridal party of 6 where the bride supplied her own foundation because she loved it so much. I was hesitant during the trial we did with it because she was stressed and her skin was a mess so it wasn't blending the way I would have like on her. I gave her some product to help treat her skin for the next few weeks leading up to her big day and we did another trial a week before. i was ready to suggest that we go with a different foundation if she was still having skin issues. She wasn't, thank god! And I am glad she didn't listen to me the first time around! As I began blending this foundation on her face I fell in love... its lightweight creamy texture provided the med. coverage she was looking for and the shine control lasted right though the night for her! So for me when come across an affordable product with great results I cant help but toot its horn!! I have added this as a staple foundation to my arsenal for this years wedding and summer photo shoot season!!!

I was so surprised with how amazing this foundation is. So so blendable!! It literally just melts right into the skin, the colors are perfect, mostly yellow based which suit me perfectly and I love the fact that it is in a stick form, so quick and easy and never messy. Simple to take traveling or throw in your handbag and never looks cakey or thick, just perfect buildable, blendable coverage! Love love love! I even bought a darker shade to contour with and I swear it is the same colour and formula as my Chanel soleil tan de Chanel. So beautiful, and quicker and easier to use to cream contour! I want back up of back ups of this product!

This is a fantastic foundation that you can also use as a concealer, if you don't want to cover your whole face. It doesn't provide heavy coverage (but this is one reason why I like it so much) but it's enough to hide most imperfections and still lets your skin look natural. I use a MAC stippling brush to blend it, but I've used my fingers to blend before and it works quite well. My skin is oily (with the occasional dry patch) but this foundation stays on all day, even in humid weather. It's actually the only foundation I've used that stays on my skin when it's humid outside without "melting" after a few hours. It's also very convenient to bring with you in your makeup bag for touch ups, if it's necessary!

This is my all time favourite foundation stick. It's always my go to and has been for about a year or so. It gives me full coverage and stays on throughout the day even without setting powder or setting spray! I recommend this to anyone looking to convert to foundation sticks because i know they won't go back.

I’m a big fan of clinique products. I use their face wash, toner, two different types of lotion, and their lip gloss. However, I have never used their foundation or even have I used a foundation stick before in my life. But I know clinique is capable of having really great products so I feel like this could be a game changer. Clinique says that this foundation can be used as a full face foundation or a bare minimum touch up. I think its absolutely perfect for women with on the go lifestyles and they can just toss this in their bag and use when needed. The color I am using is called ‘normous neutral. When I first swiped the foundation stick across my skin, it was super thick and dark and did not look natural at all. I grabbed my foundation brush and started blending everything in. I had to swipe the foundation stick one more time under my eyes and blend it again. But it looked super natural and made me feel like I wasn’t wearing foundation even though it did give me full coverage. I followed my makeup routine as normal and I really liked the way it turned out. It lasted all day without any touch ups and stayed looking flawless all day. I really like this alternative, as a foundation stick than a liquid foundation. However, I would not recommend this as a product for an on the go lifestyle unless you are going to carry a foundation brush on you or use your fingers to blend.
