The Top Rated Kat Von D Products: 85K Reviews
Based on 84,669 Influenster Reviews
In 2008, Kat Von D was approached by Sephora to create a makeup line. She began with four shades of red lipstick and now Kat Von D Beauty has grown to be a household name with every shade you can imagine. Every product Kat Von D Beauty produces, Kat Von D herself has been a part of.
According to her site, all products are made with these ideas in mind: quality over quantity, less is more, and when in doubt throw that shit out.
We at Influenster HQ love this brand and our Influensters do too. KVD has racked up tens of thousands of reviews and we've gone through those to find you the top-rated Kat Von D products.

If you like to blend your lipsticks, contour your lips, and overall use multiple different lipsticks for one fabulous unique look, the everlasting liquid lipsticks are FOR YOU!
A little goes a LONG way, I would never use the actual applicator to apply this onto my lips because it's overload of product - I highly recommend using with a lipstick brush and blending out. You have a long time of being able to move the product around as well, it's not a typical stain where as soon as you apply it it locks down and won't budge, you can take your time perfecting your style and blending this around which I think is amazing. Once the look has set for awhile, it's not going ANYWHERE unless you purposely take it off. It lasts through eating, drinking, kissing, everything.
This particular color (Lolita) is beautiful - it's a burnt red with a very noticeable dark brown hue. Beautiful for a darker vampy lip. Some skin tones may have a harder time pulling off the color but I would say go for it anyways! If you yourself love it, you're pulling it off.
Overall, buy more than one shade of these because they are formulated with the intent of blending them with other colors for a truly unique to you look. All of the shades go beautifully with one another and the possibilities are endless. These really bring the art into makeup. ...read more
This one gets used! I can wear it to my very conservative day job. The brown especially is really easy to emphasis the eyes without making me look like I would be leaving a meeting and heading to a rave. I also love that this never smudges on my hooded eyes like a lot of other eyeliner. This stays on and in place from morning until I take my makeup off at night.
This is easy to put on as well. The fine tip stays intact so you aren't getting frayed out hairs or smudging. It is really easy to use as a very thin line to a thick cat eye. Definitely store these facing down to keep the tip soft and smooth
I have repurchased this several times in both brown and black and will continue to do so. This really is the best eyeliner I have ever used! ...read more
Starting off with the packaging as always, it is made of sturdy cardboard so it’s light enough to travel with and I love the edgy vibe. It’s black and silver, its sleek and it’s pretty compact too. The box the palette comes in is identical to the palette’s packaging and you also get a handy guide for how to define cheekbones, slim the face and shape the nose. The font on the palette is in a distinctive tattoo style which tie’s in with Kat Von D’s branding and on the back of the box are all the shade names and the colours. Inside the palette is a full sized mirror which again is helpful for travelling and it closes shut with secure magnets so I wouldn’t be worried when putting it into my makeup bag and taking it along with me for a long trip.
The powders are all pigmented and quite soft, when you put the brush into the pan it can kick up some powder which shows how finely milled it is. I don’t mind this too much, but I have found that it can settle onto the packaging (I’m not sure how well you can tell from the photos around the yellow shade). I find that one stroke of the brush is enough to get the desired look on the face which means that the pans should last a decently long time, even Lyric! Also these powders blend like an absolute dream, though they are pigmented, you don’t need to spend ages blending to achieve a flawless finish. I should also mention here that Kat Von D has created a double sided brush to go along with this palette and it is $10 cheaper, personally I didn't feel the need to pick it up (I already have an army of brushes!) but it's worth considering if you're looking for a decent tool to use.
Color payoff: Pretty good depending on the shade you pick, as some are more pigmented than others but is generally pretty good
Staying power: Add in a great eye primer (I recommend UD Primer Potion), and you're set for a while (I've worn eye looks with this for 9+ hours and no smudging
Recommended usage: Put down an eye primer all over, highlight under brows if desired then lay down a base shade (The top 3 shades in the palette and the far right one). Laying down a base shade all over where shadow will go will assist in blending and make it a whole lot easier. Just choose a shade that works with the colors you'll be using and apply it where needed. Then apply desired shades in desired way and apply eyeliner if applicable.
really liked how this powder felt weightless on my skin and it didn't make I under eye area and foundation feel cakey at all.
I was worried I'd get greasy-looking with this powder because, on my hand, I could see light shimmers in it. On my face, however, it made my skin look like a nice soft matte without looking dried out at all like pure silica powders do to me. Even though my skin is oily, I only got a little bit shiny after wearing the powder for several hours and it was over bare skin (no foundation underneath).
At first, when I got the powder, I didn't like how there was some shimmer in the powder which is not that noticeable unless you are in a certain lighting, the shimmer is probably due to the mica in the ingredient list. However, as I wore more often, I didn't mind the shimmer because it makes my skin look very natural and not chalky like other powders do.
I would definitely recommend buying this powder if you are looking for a setting powder and want a flawless airbrushed look.

I have been struggling to find a proper concealer that will hide my blemishes and some scaring on my chin from acne. Thankfully this does the trick! For every day I don't wear foundation, mainly because I get up late and I am running behind, so I typically just use concealer on my blemishes and under eyes. The previous ones I have used have faded away as the day has worn on and under my eyes it has creased. However, this concealer lasts the entire day and does not crease under my eyes.
The applicator is incredibly easy to use and it blends very well with the use of a beauty blender. It does go on very creamy but sets very quickly and is seamless! While it is a little expensive, in comparison to drug store brands, it is the cheaper of the brands at sephora and for how long it lasts, it is definitely worth the price! If you are contemplating buying this, stop thinking and go get it. It is not something you will regret! ...read more
