The Crown Season 4 is About to Release — Binge in Style With Our Watch Party Guide
November 15th can't come soon enough!
The long wait is almost over, the fourth season of The Crown is about to drop on Netflix November 15th — and we have to say that the return of this series is most definitely going to be a highlight of our 2020.
It'll be almost a year to the day since we watched the royal family from our homes, the third season premiered on November 17th 2019, and we don't think that we're alone in saying that we are in desperate need for some fresh entertainment. This season we'll get to meet new characters, including the long anticipated introduction of Princess Diana and the first female Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
A series premiere this good deserves more than the standard bowl of popcorn and go-to bottle of red, no shade Pop Secret. So, we have dreamed up the perfect way to watch, okay binge, The Crown Season 4, from setting the scene, to the refreshments, to your very own watch-ready ensemble.
Think all things cute, tiny and tasty like tea sandwiches, petite fours and tea biscuits. Order in from a local bakery or hit up Trader Joe's frozen food section for bite-sized goodies galore. And of course you'll want to have a piping hot cup of Earl Grey tea on hand.
Looking for a cocktail suggestion? We hear the Queen is a fan of the Gin and Dubonnet, but if you're bartending skills are a bit rusty there's nothing wrong with a simple glass of champagne served in a super fancy flute.
Finally, have a little fun and dress for the occasion. We think there's nothing wrong with wearing a crown on your couch, but you could choose a more subtle option like a fascinator or fancy headband. You could even DIY your own adornment.
We hear that the Queen herself is a fan of Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick and what better way to embody her majesty then to treat yourself to a mani with her favourite nail color, essie® gelsetter duo kits ballet slippers?
