There's hardly a more cozy winter drink than a nice cup of tea. And now, you'll be able to have your cuppa the royal way with a brand new blend that pays tribute to the Queen herself. Well, sort of. The new Republic of Tea's blends are inspired by Netflix's The Crown and are ideal for getting cozy and reading the latest on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's engagement. (Guilty.)
The two blends from Republic of Tea feature a caffeine-free chamomile blossom and sweet honey tea blend called The Queen's Evening Tea as well as an Earl Grey that's rich with black tea leaves and bergamot oil called the Prime Minister's Blend. Naturally, The Queen's Evening Tea features a tin with the image of a young Queen Elizabeth II a.k.a. Claire Foy, while the Prime Minister's Blend features that of the Winston Churchill (John Lithgow). Each tea tin contains 36 bags of tea for $13, or you can go full on royal-tea (sorry, had to!) with a duo set of both for $27.95.
These new teas come just in time for the second season of The Crown, which premieres on December 8. But any tea lover knows these aren't the first teas for the TV and movie lover. Last year, we got Downton Abbey-themed teas from the Republic of Tea as well as Beauty and the Beast-themed teas from Twinings of London, so these new flavor are simply the latest addition any tea collection.
You can shop both flavors right now for $13 each at republicoftea.com.
