We are a Brita household. We used the Original Brita pitcher before receiving the Brita Steam pitcher for testing purposes from Influenster, and my husband and I each have our own Brita water bottles. We committed to cutting out bulk plastic bottles, and it has paid off. Less trips to the recycle bin for my husband, and fewer half-empty water bottles left lying around for me to pick up. So lets talk about this New Brita Stream pitcher. With the "Filter As You Pour" technology, which is the same as the filter-while-you-drink concept of the water bottles, this pitcher is awesome. I can't tell you how many times I've reached for an almost empty pitcher in my fridge (thanks, hubby), only to have to refill it and then wait. Well, wait no more. You put water in, you pour it out immediately. So nice. So you might be asking, why 4/5 stars if you love it so much? This pitcher has one drawback for me: it only holds 10 cups. I know you can filter water immediately, but you can't chill it immediately (we don't have an ice maker in the fridge that our apartment came it, and ice trays only take up freezer space). I only wish the pitcher were bigger. Otherwise, an awesome concept and spectacular product. Also, Steph Curry is on the packaging, so, I mean, its gotta be good. #BritaWithTheWater #StephCurryWithTheShot

This water filter is so pretty. I got this from Soma when they were having a deal to get the carafe and filter free with a subscription for the filters which should be replaced about every two months. I've taste tested everyone in my household and the Soma water always wins over our tap water (which isn't horrible). With an attempt to eliminate added toxins from my family's bodies I opted to try this out and I'm glad I did. It's super easy to fill and pour and does not take long to filter. I'd definitely recommend this product if you want to enjoy cleaner water.

Have a couple of these and gave one to my mom. They do a great job of filtering. Water tastes great. Pitcher is very sturdy and does not hold odors. Filters are basically the same price as the competition

This is my second Brita pitcher, had an old basic 5 cup that I loved and used for years til a thirsty cat worked it off the edge of the counter. Got this in today and was happy to see the filter design has stayed consistent as I had a few filters on hand for my old Brita that fit the new one perfectly. Saw a lot of complaints on the lid, poured my first glass expecting the worst, nothing. no problem whatsoever. maybe they fixed the design or people weren't snapping them on correctly, but mine stayed on just fine. Didn't realize it had the electronic filter replacement counter in the lid, a nice surprise, but ultimately unnecessary (for the people complaining about the 5 year lifespan of the internal battery, believe it or not, there was a time when we just mentally kept track of when to change our filters.. and when the battery dies, it won't affect the filtering one iota.) I use it mainly for water to make tea. pre-Brita, the tea had an almost metallic taste. post-Brita, the tea has a full rich taste of tea and nothing else. I love these pitchers and swear by them. it's an affordable alternative to buying bottled as it'll pay for itself in less than a month. on a completely unrelated note, with my kitchen appliances being black/silver, this sits in the fridge or on the counter looking like it came with the kitchen, so bonus. the Brita I used to have was very basic so this was a nice upgrade, double the capacity, better lid/reservoir system. A+ Brita!

Very satisfied with this water filter. Have had no issues with the sensor telling you that it is time to change the filter. It is super easy to change the filter, the only issue is that it takes 5-6 minutes while changing the filter so you kind of need to plan ahead. Water tastes fantastic and it really isn't a hassle as long as you remember to keep filling the pitcher up after you pour glasses of water. Would recommend!

Best water filter I've tried by far. Been using it for years and it's a must in our household. Truly clean tasteless water you actually want to drink. We use coupons or price matching for replacement filters so it's not as pricy but it's worth it especially living in apartment with older pipes where lead is a concern. No going back
