I LA-LA-LA-LOVEEEE this powder! I was in need of a setting powder and bought the smaller version on a whim while on the Sephora line (yes, I caved). The only regret I have about it is not deciding to buy the regular sized pot! If you're like me and have ever wondered how in the WORLD Kim Kardashian's makeup looks perfectly airbrushed in all of her photos, you have found your answer (not including the other $$$$ products she uses of course). For those of you with dry skin like me, I make sure to moisturize well before beginning to use any sort of makeup on my face. Regardless, this powder should be the least of your worries in causing dryness. The real culprits are your foundations and concealers (and perhaps even your moisturizer)! I have never experienced any sort of flakiness or cakey nonsense from using this powder. Instead, I have used this product for baking and removing any unwanted shine. In the end, I am always left with an airbrushed looking finish that lasts the whole day. TL;DR Worth the $$, long-lasting, airbrushed finish, become Kim Kardashian (sort of)

I love this product for setting my under eyes and foundation! It completely mattifies and does not at all look cakey and powdery! It is a white powder, but it does not affect my medium skin tone at all, however, I cannot guarantee that those with dark skin tones will be able to use this without it lightening them up. My only complaint is the shape of the container, it is very small and I like to use a dense fluffy brush to apply it, which is hard to use because its small circumference. However, a little goes a long way so I make it work. I really do enjoy this product, however, it does have a nice price tag, I only got it because of my Sephora rewards points, but if I am wanting to treat myself, I definitely would with this product.

I Love Bare Minerals/Ecentials Mineral Veil! It is one of my go to mineral powders. I use it first after my moisturizer, once it dries, then apply my mineral foundation, then apply more Mineral Veil as a finishing touch and that really helps my makeup stay on longer and my complexion is perfect. I have an oily t zone and some pores I want to hide and this product helps with both issues. It doesn't settle in my fine lines nor my pores and the more I use it the better my skin looks. My skin loves it! I think this is a versatile product, and the color is great for just about any complexion. Plus it's non irritating and beneficial to most skin types. I hope this helps! 😉

Quite like this to give my face a sheer wash of colour and glow. It does give off a peachy-beige tint to the skin. I have medium Asian skin + my skin's dry, I found that this powder didn't settle on my skin and was very noticeable. It didn't emphasize any dry spots. It lasts hours as well. I love the sheen. It's not a shimmery powder or a noticeable highlight. It is meant to create an effect on your skin as if dim light is actually shining on you. It's just beautiful. I have the palette too. I think Dim Light works with Incandescent Light to give a bit more glow that's a little more noticeable. It also lightens your complexion when combined and appears as if your face has been photoshopped. You have to try these two powders together. Incandescent Light can appear too light on its own for some skin tones, but I believe it's great and perfect for most skin tones. It gives a brightening and pinky-white glow that's very unique. It doesn't do anything for oil control, but if you want a natural glow that isn't obvious at all, this is it!

I have been using MSF in Light for years. I've strayed away but always come back to this powder. The finish is like none other, not completely matte, but with a very beautiful "glow". I have pretty normal skin and I don't find this to make me more oily and it doesn't have that powdery look. You can always spray Fix Plus to set your powder. It looks like skin. The price tag is a little steep, but I don't mind because I know it is going to perform well and since I don't wear foundation, this powder is all I wear day to day. The packaging could be better, the powder flies out and lands in the lid, but I just use my kabuki brush to pick it up and apply to my face. The more you buff it into the skin, the better it will look. I hope MAC never discontinues this powder because it is amazing!

This is an oldie but goodie, also comes in pressed for form for travel. Did you know it is retinol in it!!! It is an added benefit that not only helps to disguise your pores but lightly treat them too. I love the recent repackage, the compact is much more luxe with the same amazing product. Leaves a semi matte finish and is HD, no need to worry about any casting.
