Now I know why people go nuts over this eye liner. It is soft to apply but easy to control. It's so easy to tightline the upper lashes, create a cat eye, or just add a little depth to the crease of the eye. I watched some Youtube videos on applying, and got one terrific idea for applying. First, go across the bottom water line 3 times with the tip, then quickly close your eye (don't scrunch it, just close it). The color will transfer to the upper waterline. Gorgeous! Then I just go up under the top lashes and add color there to tightline, never actually going above the lashes to apply, but applying from underneath. It's a much more natural look than trying to line on top of the lashes from above (which of course you still can do). I bought some cheaper brands, and they are either hard to control (I'm talking to you Kat Von D) or too stiff to release color (Clinique). Lots of color ranges too. Try teal or bronze, it's amazing!

I am Asian and many of us have mono eyelids and naturally have oilier eyelids than other races. So my eye makeup smudges really easily if I don't use the right products. Even the products that are loved by everyone don't quite work on me sometimes so I'm really careful with purchasing eye makeup products. However, I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. It glides really well on my eyes and does not smudge at all. And I live in Miami where it's usually either really hot or humid. When I'm late for work, I just throw this eyeliner and my Naked palette in my bag. No need for any primer or fixer. The brown and black are my to go eyeliners, and I use the colored ones when i feel like switching it up a bit. The one and only downside is that some of the color eyeliners (non-brown or black) applies a bit patchy (I own like 5 different colors of this line), but it works well if you sharpen it a bit. I've been using only Make Up Forever's eyeliner for the past 5 years!

This Estee Edit eye kajal is literally like penciling on pigmented butter! The smoothness of the application and the P•O•P of the color is like nothing I've used before! Trying to make my eyes look bigger, I lined the corners with the brown [which is a poor description of this gorgeous pigment] and used the bright highlighting end of the pencil on the inner rims of my eyes. My first time using the pencil I was attending a celebratory function in the evening and I was complimented AND high fived on how nice I looked. [NOTE: I was wearing a cotton dress and Birkenstocks so it is COMPLETELY due to the extra POW this Estee Edit Eye Kajal gave my look!] I did have to reapply mascara after applying the kajal because it is so soft it does get on my lashes during application. Not a problem just be sure to have mascara on hand when touching up your eyes with this pencil! So thankful to have received this product for testing purposes from #EsteeEdit #spon & #Influenster in my very first #VoxBox

This product really lives up to its name. When it says velvet, it means velvet. This eyeliner glides on so smoothly and effortlessly while giving off extreme pigment. The only down side to the product is it is very hard to get a precise wing, but it work so unbelievably well on your water line and tight line that that gets completely over looked. I find myself reaching for this product every single day to finish off my eye look.

Chanel always makes stunning products, but I have to say that I adore this eyeliner. I love pot liner, since they go on more smoothly than stick liners, but this liner goes on like butter. But it stays on like it was a tattoo! This product is true to its name and claims, and didn't flake or fade. One of the additional perks of this liner is its pigmentation, which is something very important for making a bold line or cat eye. Another reason to love this liner! My only qualm is the price, which is a bit steep. It is an excellent liner, so it's a nice thing to splurge on when I have the chance.
