Begin with perfectly clean skin. The instructions read to use a thick layer of the product. Do this so that the mask dries and removes cleanly (i.e. don't cheap-out or you will not get the full experience). Now, truly do avoid your eyes. I got my first application a bit too close to my eyes and they began to water pretty much instantly (this was my fault).
Wait thirty minutes (you should see the edges begin to peel up a tad). Peel from the top down. It is a painless (unless you suffer from excessive facial hair or a variety of skin conditions) and pretty cool process (i.e. think a Biore for your entire face).
My mask came off nearly entirely in the first go. There were a little remnants around the edges that easily came off with a moist, warm towel. And the overall effect was truly brighter and oh-so-soft skin.

I'm done with that cycle. Yu-Be will always be in my house at the ready for fall and winter hands. A little goes a long way, and it's totally worth the cost. ...read more
I've used the Shu Uemura cleansing oils but find the consistency of the DHC one much better. And I much prefer this to any Lancôme or Clinique oil-based makeup remover as this one doesn't leave an oily film on your face afterwards. I went through a brief makeup wipe remover phase as well but those just do not remove enough and as easily as a cleansing oil.
I've been using this DHC one for 15+ years and it has remained consistently my favorite. ...read more
