I don’t use the highlighter shade but definitely use the darker two shades for contouring. It blends out so easily and looks beautiful! I don’t normally love cream products to contour but I like this one a lot!

Wet n Wild never fails to surprise and amaze me with the quality of their products. It is so hard to find a good contour shade from the drugstore that isn't super shimmery or gross orangey, and the contour shade in this duo is seriously perfect for my skintone. It is a little dark so I do have to be careful not to use too heavy of a hand. As for the highlighting shade, it's great! I use this to set my undereyes, forehead, chin, and nose after highlighting with a concealer. It's a nice banana shade, although in most pictures of it, it looks like it has pink undertone... don't be deceived. I love the way it compliments my yellow-undertone skin! It's easy to blend and doesn't cling to any of my dry patches which is always the biggest problem I have with highlight/contour powders. Overall, this contouring "palette" is a lot better than buying a huge palette with six other shades when you're on a budget and only going to be using the two that work best for your skintone, ESPECIALLY for the price. I would like to see Wet n Wild come out with more shades in this product so others with different skintones and undertones can appreciate the greatness too. Another job well done, Wet n Wild!

Hands down best contour kit for the price. The palette comes with four highlight shades (1 shimmer, 2 matte and 1 satin), and four contour shades (all matte). The powders are all pigmented and easy to blend, making it great for a natural or dramatic look. The white shimmery highlight is beautiful for all skin tones, and I love using the two matte shades to set my concealer and subtly colour correct my under eye area. The satin highlight is nice for a more subtle look. Overall, I think that the highlight shades would be flattering for most skin tones. The contour shades are great because you have four to choose from, making this a great palette for many. However, I wish that there was at least one cooler shade, reminiscent of their taupe blush, as all of the shades tend to be warm. The packaging is sturdy and is easy to keep clean, which is always a bonus. I love that you can replace individual shades, rather than having to buy the whole palette again. Overall, I think that this is a great product for beginners and pros alike, and I highly recommend it.

Hello all you beautiful souls! Are you a beginner looking for a great, inexpensive, easy to use, no guessing involved, contour palette? Your search is over! The Maybelline Contour palette in light/medium includes one bronzer color, a blush, and a highlighter and they go perfect together. These colors are perfect for all skin tones. I have very fair skin with pink undertones and I always find bronzers are too orange for me, highlighters don't show up, and blushes are usually fine. The palette blends nicely, although if you blend it too much it disappears which is a little disappointing because I really like to buff out my contour for a subtle natural look and it's almost as if it rubs off before I get it to my desired blend. All in all, this product is amazing and I would recommend to anyone who is a beginner looking to work on their contour, or anyone who, like me, is tired of trying to find the perfect shades! Thank you influenster for the chance to review this product!

City Color Cosmetics Contour Effects Pallete is great. My skin tone is dark brown and most of the time contour kits seem to make the highlight colour extremely hard to blend in with my skin tone. It's either extremely dramatic highlight or an irregular blob of white lying on my face. Usually I just blend it out by adding a lighter brown and it turns out better. I disliked the kits I had purchased prior to this City Color Cosmetics Contour Pallete mainly because the other ones were too much work. When I had stumbled upon this product on one of my favorite blogs I decided to give it a shot because the blogger had the same problem I did. when I had purchased the product and tried it I instantly fell in love. The colours blended extremely well with my skin and it gave me a nice airbrushed finish. I would definitely recommend this product to someone who has trouble finding an easy to use contour kit and needs to save time during their morning routine.

This palette is pretty nice. I'm new to contouring, so I wasn't prepared to dish out a ton of money on a bigger, high-end product. The colors are nice and the pigmentation is pretty good, as well. I use at least one color from this palette a couple of times a week, so I'll definitely get a lot of use out of it. I'm aware that you can buy this palette in stores and on E.L.F.'s website for $6, but I can never find it in stores and it's always sold out on the website, so I was willing to spend $12 on it (which, in my opinion, is still a good price for this palette). Overall, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. I think it's great for beginners, like myself, but if you're a contouring pro, or want a variety of colors, I'd look elsewhere
