Glossier's Cloud Paints feature a silicone-heavy liquid blush formula that's a great for beginners. Because they're sheer and so easy to blend, it's almost impossible to overdo them or leave harsh lines on the skin. They blend very easily with your fingers or a flat foundation brush, though frankly, I prefer fingers because it's quicker and you have fewer brushes to clean.I tried three of the current four shades: Beam, Puff, and Haze. Beam and Buff have slightly creamier formulas, while Haze is a little more watery. I actually found Haze a bit harder to work with because of this, but I was still able to get a nice berry flush on my fair skin. Now, while you can layer these up for more color, only one of the shades (Haze) seems appropriate for darker skin tones. The others do not seem to show up, or look a little too white. I do hope Glossier expands the shade range. The paint tube packaging for these is cute and makes it easy to differentiate between the colors. I did experience a bit of a "blow out" with my tube of Beam when I first opened it; it hasn't happened since, but still, be careful when using tubes under pressure!
