Like most people, I would shake off my brushes after applying my makeup and throw them back into their spot and go onto my day. I got this product free with a purchase of a brush set. I used it and I know now how much builds up on these items I use with my makeup.
I can't say that bareMinerals has a better product than others on the market. I can say that it works really well and I won't be trying any other brand.
Until I was given a sample of the blendercleanser (thank you Sephora). I used it on my BB and it literally removed the stains with such a tiny amount compared to the Dr. Bronner's.
I have to use quite a bit of the magic soap to get all the stains out, which kind of defeats the cost savings.
I'm going to pick up a bottle of this stuff asap. Then I'll branch out and try the solid cleanser. Hey, why not? If it works great and is convenient, it's worth it.
Let's begin with a fact. I am super lazy about cleaning my brushes. As in, to an embarrassing degree. I hate waiting for them to dry. I hate spending 30 mins at the sink going through them one by one. The whole experience sucks, and so my brushes go much longer than they should without being cleansed.
Enter the Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner. There is no need for rinsing with this. I can be at my makeup table and clean on the go. Because of how quickly this dries, I can cleanse in between colours without worry. My colours aren't muddy anymore!
It is incredibly easy to use. Just dip, wipe the brush off on a paper towel, and carry on. No more excuses to not clean my brushes.
As an added bonus, there is a vanilla scent to the cleaner. It doesn't entirely mask the alcohol/chemical smell, but it does make the experience more pleasant
