This pump is easy to use and the parts are cheap if you need to replace them. There is a button for let down and then for pumping strength. The one thing I like about this pump is that I could use my Dr. Brown's bottles and pump directly into them. This saved me from washing a few extra parts. I also suggest that if you are pumping several times a day to put the parts in a plastic bag and put them in the fridge.
The one thing I didn't like was that I felt the pump was a little loud. I found that if the suction was not great on the pump once I replaced the white flaps it improved the suction and therefore the amount of milk I was getting. You can buy Medela replacement parts just about anywhere: Target, Walmart, Amazon and even the drug store. I also suggest getting the car charger. There were several times I would pump in the car, while my husband was driving, and gave my daughter a bottle that way instead of breastfeeding.
