The past year (ish) has been incredibly tough. As a company, we've come together to not only get through the months virtually, but to give back to organizations that help others as well. Because Influenster is a part of Bazaarvoice, an international company, some of these charities aren't just US-based. Here, we highlight ten charities that we've supported this past year, so that we can spread the word, and the love:

Autism NI: A Northern-Ireland based non-profit that fundraises for Autism though support, training, lobbying and fundraising.

World Land Trust: World Land Trust (WLT) is an international conservation charity that protects the world’s most biologically significant and threatened habitats acre-by-acre. Though based in the UK, they strive to raise awareness in all areas of the need for conservation, to improve understanding and generate support through education, information and fundraising.

Safe Alliance: Did you know that 1 in 3 women will be impacted by sexual assault or domestic violence during their lifetime? Safe Alliance provides hope and healing to those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault.

The Trevor Project: The leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25.

Immigrant Families Together: Help to reunite families and support partners on the border with their critical needs, giving special consideration to bond requests for those who are vulnerable because of some aspect of their identity or are ill.

Central Texas Food Bank: The largest hunger-relief charity in Central Texas. In the past year, they have provided 39 million meals to the community.

Joseph's Goal: A UK-based org that helps raise funds for Joseph Michael Kendrick, who at less than a week old was diagnosed with a severe form of a very rare genetic, metabolic disorder known as NKH.

Safe in Austin: A family-run non-profit, rescuing at-risk animals and children, just outside of Austin, TX.

Children's Crisis Treatment Center: Specializes in delivering behavioral health services to Philadelphia’s children and their families. They're dedicated to addressing the impact of child abuse, neglect, traumatic events, and other challenges to early childhood development.

Heart of Dinner: Founded at the onset of COVID-19, Heart of Dinner works to fight food insecurity and isolation experienced by Asian American seniors—two long-standing community issues heightened by the pandemic.

How were these non-profit organizations chosen? Every year, we host a week called entitled "b:generous". During this week, employees choose charities and causes that are most important to them and those which allow us to have a deeper impact in our communities.

All in all, we raised over 15K for these amazing organizations so far.

What organizations are important to you? We'd like to know.
