Although we're always excited to share our legendary VoxBoxes with our members, Influenster is more than just boxes. We're about transparency, honesty, and leading by example. In fact, we're always working on ways to improve and grow—and keep you, our members, informed along the way! So that's exactly why we're pleased to share that Influenster has an on-going commitment to sustainability—starting with our VoxBoxes!
"As an industry, we have to take responsibility for the well being of our planet," notes our co-founder and president Elizabeth Scherle. And when it comes to our VoxBoxes we're committed to making them as eco-conscious and sustainable as possible.
First off, all of our VoxBoxes are made from 60 to 95 percent recycled material as per industry standard. And what's more, they're 100 percent recyclable. So post unboxing, you can always rest assured your box is able to skip the trash and hit the cardboard recycling bin! Not ready to give up your VoxBox just yet? You can always upcycle it. We've had members use their boxes for everything from extra beauty product storage to gift wrap! Don't afraid to get creative with it.
Next, we're committed to working with our brand partners to insure we have as little extra materials as possible. That means we're working from day one to make sure our VoxBoxes and the products inside are a perfect match, thus resulting in less waste!
Lastly, all of our paper products for VoxBoxes (we're talking tissue paper and product postcards!) are sourced from suppliers who are Sustainable Forestry Initiative certified. Not quite sure what that means? Basically, we only work with suppliers who source materials via responsible forestry practices and take measures to protect water quality, biodiversity, wildlife habitat, species at risk, and forests with exceptional conservation value. Pretty cool, huh?
And just know, this is only the beginning here at Influenster. We will continue to work on ways to improve our sustainability practices beyond our boxes! Tell us what you want to see from us? Let us know other sustainable practices and initiatives you'd love to see from Influenster. Share below!
