This isn't the first time one of our favorite indie beauty brands has bridged the gap between skincare and haircare, and let's just say we hope it's not the last. Word on the street is Sunday Riley, a.k.a. the beauty guru behind Influenster favorites like Good Genes and UFO is upper her game with a clarifying scalp scrub.

Although the first haircare product won't officially hit retailers until the summer, we spotted it on Sunday Riley's site right now for pre-order. And from the sounds of it, Clean Rinse Clarifying Scalp Serum ($48) is basically skincare for your scalp. The serum formula boasts a powerful AHA/BHA-infused formula of glycolic and salicylic acid. First up, glycolic acid chemically exfoliates the scalp so it's clear of product, sweat, and other various buildup. Meanwhile salicylic acid dissolves sebum buildup within the actual follicle so your head is healthy all around.

From there you also get a powerful cocktail of detoxifying rose clay as well as hair-health supporting vitamins A, C, and E among others. What's more, because it's all infused into a micellar water base, you don't have to worry about an oily scalp or added residue. And of course, because it's Sunday Riley it's cruelty-free, sulfate-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and phthalate-fee.

If you're eager to scoop up the latest from the indie powerhouse and get to treating your scalp a bit more like how you'd treat your skincare routine, we recommend shopping the pre-sale now while you can.
