Mountain Dew Spiked Their Drinks–But It's Not What You Think

You Saturday night party people might be looking at the Mountain Dew Spiked Lemonade and think it'll be a new pre-game BFF. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's actually non alcoholic. It's spiked with something even crazier. Something found in—a plant! Weird, we know, but it actually sounds kind of amazing.

So, now that we've cleared it up that it's probably not like, Mike's Hard Lemonade, the ingredient that makes it spike-worthy is prickly pear cactus juice. Yep. No added sugar necessary, it's made with actual prickly pear fruit juice for a naturally sweet taste that's sure to quench your thirst. We don't know about you, but we'll take a refreshing and naturally sweet lemonade over an alcoholic bev any day.

Since there aren't any reviews on this yet, let's see what Influensters have to say about their original product–Mountain Dew Soda.

"Mountain Dew is my go-to soda. I've been addicted to it for years and it's always my first choice when buying soda at the grocery store or at a convenience store. It gives me the right amount of caffeine that I need and also gives me the sugary taste that I enjoy. I also love that Mountain Dew comes out with other flavors throughout the year too. Will continue to repurchase."

-Breyonna S.

" I drink so much Mountain Dew I could probably fill a pool with the amount I have had in my lifetime. Wouldn't that be a dream come true. A pool of Mountain Dew? Sign me up!"

-Bobbie H.
