Living in Hawaii, I am constantly at the beach and sometimes, locals burn too. I was in a panic when I spent a whole day at the beach on an over cast day and got completely burnt. I ran to a target near by to find an after sun lotion to sooty the burn and this was the best smelling lotion on the shelf! I was a little skeptical that I'm purchasing a product solely based on its scent,, but I'm glad I took the chance, because I hardly peeled that week, and the pain from the burn did not last as long as it should've. On a side note, I also purchased this lotion but with shimmer the other week, and was disappointing. Since you have to really work this in to your skin, as you rub the product, the overwhelming amount of shimmer turns into clumps and it just made me look a little dirty. So if you have the choice, go for the original! :)

Aloe is pretty much necessary in the Summer. You put sunblock on, reapply, have the best of intentions but you still get burned. This aloe gel feels cooling and amazing on sunburned skin. It sinks in to skin quickly so you're not left with sticky, tacky residue on your skin. It moisturizes the skin to reduce the amount of peeling that comes with a sunburn. It has mild pain relieving properties. It's cheap. Definitely recommend.

I LOVE this. I've been trying to take better care of my skin and this is a must have for me. It instantly cools, is very gentle on the skin, not sticky or greasy, etc. Literally everything you could need or want in an aftersun product. I've only used it a handful of times since I haven't burned but maybe two or three times; I apply consistently throughout the day, and I swear, the stinging and redness are almost instantly gone. Highly recommend.

I keep a bottle of this in my fridge at all times and I recommend it to EVERYONE who mentions burns. I use it every summer on my inevitable horrific shoulder burns from a day in the sun wearing a tank. I also use it if I manage to graze my hands or arms against a hot surface while cooking. It's cooling, soothing, and helps you sleep with a terrible burn.

An absolute must! I use sunscreen 50 bit I still get massive sunburn (combo of Irish skin and medications) so as soon as I hit the sand, I've got this at home so I can sleep! It's not sticky and it dries quick yet works for hours. Also helps in minimizing peeling.
