Last year proved to be the year of crazy waitlists, sold-out beauty launches, and Insta-famous beauty brands. And it seems as if 2018 will be no different. The first product to catch our attention simply by the fact that it keeps flying off shelves (and popping up on our Insta feed like crazy!) comes from K-beauty brand Son & Park.
Now you might remember Son & Park from their cult-favorite Beauty Water ($30.00, Sephora). (This one is so good it earned a 4.6-star rating on Influenster!) But the brand is at it again with a product that boasts the perfect selfie filter IRL. The new Beauty Filter Cream ($32.00, Sephora) is a moisturizing cream that's getting a lot of buzz recently thanks to a stellar cocktail of powerful ingredients and a filter-like finish.
First up, the stars of any skincare product: the ingredients. Beauty Filter Cream is actually jampacked with brightening vitamin c and a multitude of flower extracts. (Seriously, there's a lot of floral action happening here.) There's damascena flower water for sebum control (i.e. shine is under check) and a white flower complex that's rich with jasmine to help even out skin's tone. In addition, this whipped cream contains hydrolyzed pearl to add that kiss of illumination to skin—meaning you get that diffused, selfie-ready finish. See the amazing texture in action below.
To use, treat this as the last step in your skincare routine and the first step in your makeup one. Apply in the AM post-cleansing and pre-foundation all over the face for an even luminous glow. The pearlescent diffusion will act as a primer to prep that skin and make it dewy and bright!
This new moisturizer has been so popular that it has already sold out at K-beauty hotspot Soko Glam! Thankfully, we just checked and it's back in stock at both Soko Glam and at Sephora for $32. Although this product is new, it's already racking up positive reviews on Influenster—so what are you waiting for?
