Few things in the world can make you feel as glam as a swipe of lipstick. A plump statement lip really does make all the difference, you know? This is why the news of Smashbox's new Be Legendary Liquid Metals and Pigments totally made our day! The collection is everything you could hope for–full coverage and intensely pigmented.

Smashbox’s Lip Editor-in-Chief, makeup artist Vlada Haggerty (@vladamua) designed the Be Legendary Liquid Metals and Pigments to make creating lip art looks easy to achieve. Lucky for us, we got our hands on a few shades and took them for a test run! See how our makeup artist Jenny Rostami plays up a few different colors.

For a golden foiled look, apply Haterade to your lips first. Then take Petal Metal and apply to the center of your bottom and upper lips. While the formula is still slick, dip a lip defining brush into gold glitter and pat along the center of your bottom and upper lips. This will create a sunset-like metallic finish that's perfect for a night out on the town.

Want to create a dramatic space-age look? Apply Foiled Brat to your bottom lip and Space Case to your upper. Then take the lip defining brush with silver glitter and pat it over your upper lip. Clean the brush and apply purple glitter to the bottom and outer layers of your upper lip, leaving a tiny peek of silver to show through the middle. Then apply a bit more silver glitter to the middle of your bottom lip to reveal a gorgeous shimmery gradient.

Like what you see? There are even more shades to choose from! You can find 17 shades in the Be Legendary Liquid Metals and Pigments collection–eight Pigment shades and nine Metallic shades. From vinyl-like finishes to the metallic results you see above, you'll be a mega-fan after swiping a layer of one of these on your pout. And on top of that, its precision tip applicator distributes product evenly, making your lips appear more plump and full! Overall, I think we'd rate these a solid 5 stars.
