If you're like me - and many of my Influenster co-workers - you're dreaming of weekly mani sessions. But what’s been especially missed from our routines are gel manicures. With the notion that a UV light is necessary to get an envious gel mani, I didn't think doing this at home was possible. Enter Sally Hansen’s new and improved Miracle Gel Shiny Top Coat

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The upgraded formula now includes new ColorSet Technology to lock the top coat to the collection of Miracle Gel colors, for up to eight days of color and shine. Want to switch up your color before the eight days? Just remove it with regular nail polish remover -- say goodbye to searching for the how-to’s of gel removal.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Apply two thin coats of your favorite Miracle Gel color to clean, bare nails.
  2. Apply one coat of Miracle Gel Top Coat* in either Shiny or Matte finishes.

*Note: Must be used in tandem with Miracle Gel color.

MY EXPERIENCE
Before I share my thoughts, you should know off the bat that I rarely (as in, maybe twice a year) do my own nails. As I applied my gifted ROSE & SHINE, I noticed immediately that the polish brush countered to my nail. The application was not only swift, but super easy to apply with my non-dominant hand. I’ve been rocking this mani for five days and so far, no chipping whatsoever. Plus, getting a gel mani in under ten minutes is epic.

Sally Hansen also launched the Marine Metals collection, a mix of vibrant, color-changing shades, glittery metallics, and modern neutrals. Not sure you’ll find a shade you like? Don’t stress, because there's also 75 unique shades to choose from that are part of their own collection.

Which shade(s) are you most excited to try at home?!
