There are some products that are just so good they get various iterations and versions. One product that garnered such a big following is Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. The drugstore bronzer has been an Influenster favorite for years with more than 5,700 reviews—beating out several options double its price.
So naturally, the next version of the powder was the Butter Blush. This creamy blush captured Influensters' attention yet again for it's creamy, luxe formula, which has already earned a 4.5-star rating. So what's next in the Butter line? Well, it seems like Physicians Formula has stunning new Butter Highlighters coming at us.
Swatches of the new @physiciansformula Butter Highlighters ($9.99 at Harmon/Bed Bath & Beyond). ✨✨✨ These are completely different than the Butter Bronzers/Blushes as it's a cream to powder formula. They have a soft, creamy, bouncy texture very similar to the Colourpop highlighters. 😍😍😍 They also come in less bulky packaging than the Bronzers/Blushes...instead of the more bulky compact with the sponge underneath, these are in a simple low-profile jar with a screw-on lid (again similar to Colourpop only larger). 👍 They go on super shiny and reflective and have that same coconut scent that the other Butter products have. 🌴 Swipe left to see close-ups of the pans.
We heard whispers of these highlighters on Instagram as beauty junkies like @beauddiction kept posting about the new five-shade launch. Similar to its predecessors, the new formula will also feature murumuru butter, cupuacu butter, and tucumato butter to deliver fatty acids and skin-softening pro-vitamins. The fine cream-to-powder formula boasts a bouncy texture and creamy application.
The five shades in the new launch include: Rose Gold, Champagne, Pink, Pearl, and Iridescence. From the looks of the new powders, the color payoff is subtle yet noticeable. The ultra-refined pearls and soft-focus pigments that are built in give the illusion of highlighters that are much more expensive than their $11 price tag. Just look at the up close swatches below to see the color payoff we're talking about!
The new highlighters have already started to roll out into some drugstores for $10.95 each, but they will fully be out and available by October—with the exception of Iridescence, which will only be available at Physiciansformula.com and Ulta in December.
