Back in May, Oreo dazzled with the announcement of return of Firework Oreo flavor with crackling and popping candies mixed in with the cream. (Raise your hand if you got to enjoy some of these at your Fourth of July celebration this past weekend!) But with this news also came the announcement of a very special contest in which the brand asked consumers to submit their best ideas for a new Oreo flavor via a social contest. The resulting cookies have been deliciously entertaining.

Submission have included everything from the normal—carrot cake and pineapple upside down cake—to the bizarre—popcorn and avocado. And, Oreo has delighted fans and made prototypes of a number of these fan-concocted cookies.

As you can see, some are quite straight-forward in their taste, while others are a little open to interpretation—we're looking at you unicorn. Oreo also launched some mockups of Oreo Chocolate Candy Bars in new flavors as well. Take a peek below.

Although most of these dreamy creations won't hit shelves in the end, we're feeling inspired by the possibilities. Looking to get in on the Oreo fun? The contest runs until July 14 and you can enter by texting your flavor idea to 59526, posting it on social media with the hashtag #MyOreoCreation and #contest, or filling out the form on MyOREOCreation.com. Not only will the winner's cookie get packaged and sold in stores so the whole world can taste its wonder, but the creator will get a whopping $500,000.

Not too shabby.
