What it is: It's an easy way to make your eyes look bigger and brighter., but it's not necessarily a new trend. Model icon Twiggy used to dot her lash lines, and since then different takes on the trend have popped up here and there during fashion weeks across the globe. But with an increase in beauty looks on social media, it looks like the trend is becoming more mainstream.

How to do it:  Pro tip–less is more. Opt for subtle, lash-hugging mascara on the lower lashes. Try COVERGIRL LashBlast Mascara–it grabs every lash without the clump. Then take a precise black tip liner like Kat Von D's Tattoo Liner or NYC High Definition Liquid Eyeliner to draw the dots directly under your pupils. Don't worry about messing up, there are so many ways you can create the trend. From glittered stars to vibrant eyeliner, this look has no limits. Find inspiration with a few Instagrams, below.
