New Takes on the French Manicure

We've upgraded from the early 2000s. 

There's no doubt the French tip is the most iconic nail trend to date. It had a brief hiatus sometime in the early 2000s, but the latest looks are far from the acrylic we remember seeing. Below are new takes on the French manicure we've seen surface on the 'Gram.

This is a subtle way to update the French manicure. Grab two of your favorite colors that pair well together and save the darker shade for the tip. If you like the colors you see above, try the Jordana Cosmetics' burgundy polish in Very Berry and China Glaze's polish pale pink shade in Afterglow.

Start with a base color of your favorite polish and top it off with a matte top coat. Then brush the tips with a glossy golden color.
